NEXT MORNING
Hazel's POV
I woke feeling refreshed and happy as the sunlight hit my face from my window and I smiled brightly, but the thought of getting married to an unknown guy made me loose my happiness as I came down from my bed and straight to mum's room,I really woke up late today maybe because of the stress.
MUM'S ROOM
I knocked on the door of the room and mum answered it's obvious she's awake then.
"good morning mummy"I said.
"good morning sweetie how was your night?"mum asked.
"my night was good"I said with the look that gets mum worried so that she'd ask me the problem.
"what's wrong with you baby"it worked, mum asked.
"mum please can you help me talk to daddy"I asked.
"baby I've tried but it seems like your father is not ready to listen and you know how does things I'm just scared"mum said and started crying.
"why are you crying mum I'm supposed to be doing that not you "I said confused.
"I'm sad that I couldn't do anything to help you ,I've talked to your father countless times but he's feeling reluctant about it"mum said.
"Do you know the guy is he any of your friends or business partners son?"I asked mom.
"Tsk tsk ion know him "mum replied shocking me.
"So how come I'd get married to him are we engaged or betrothed"I yelled standing up.
"ion know baby I promise"mum cried.
I just sighed walking out of the room as mum bowed her head crying.
SITTING ROOM
Dad was in the sitting room he's going to work I think, he turned and faced me with a smile which I didn't return.
"good morning my angel"he smiled brightly.
"Dad what on heaven's sake is happening can't believe mum doesn't know him"I yelled and dad frowned.
"reason why you didn't respond to my greetings or even greet me huh? when did you become so rude?"dad asked.
"the moment you decided to sell me off to someone ion know"I replied and he chuckled.
"So that's your problem huh? what if I tell you that if you don't get married to that man in two days time we'd all die "my dad said and my eyes widened madly.
what does he mean by that?
"what!!"I screamed.
"please hazel do this if you really love us like you claim please sweetheart,don't worry about Thier status they are very rich"my dad said.
"and who told you that wealth matters billy let her marry someone she loves like we both did please"I heard mum say at my back and I turned to fine her standing there.
"Helen how else should I plead with you both that we're gonna die if she doesn't get married to that man"dad yelled.
"So what we really happened,why would we die?was it a deal?"I asked curiously as my heart kept banging.
"I'm late for work hazel,get ready cause you're getting married to him and that's final"Dad said and walked out of the house as I sighed and ruffled my hair walking out of the sitting room too leaving mum all alone.

Hazel walked into her room In tears as she kept ruffling her hair as rivers alof thought flowed in her mind.
"what kind of life is this"she muttered resting her forehead on the wall.
"first it was don't go out without my permission"
"second don't even think of falling In love"
"third you're not to have male friends"
"fourth if any boy asks you out reject him"
"so this was the reason"she chuckled in tears.
"if it's not a business partners plan then it would be a deal or I'm betrothed to him"hazel muttered walking to her bed stand to pick up her phone.
she dialed Leon's number but it wasn't going through so she decided to chat him up.

Paxton is shirtless as he stuck out his head from the window smoking dangerously and handsomely,while Scarlett was on the bed n*ked,they just had a hot s*x.
"godfather said am getting married"Paxton said breaking the silence.
"As in you should get a wife?"Scarlett asked.
"No he already got me a wife"Paxton sighed and Scarlett sprung up.
"what don't tell me you'd accept"Scarlett said putting on her blouse.
"Talking like you don't know the person you call godfather daily"Paxton hissed.
"jeez,can't believe he's forcing a woman on you"Scarlett said joining him in the window.
"That man is getting me more annoyed"Paxton exhaled walking out of the window.
"you can't tell him to cut off the marriage with the girl that you have someone in mind you know"Scarlett smiled.
"Hey,who told you I have someone in mind"Paxton chuckled.
"Me of course you can tell him you have me in mind and because I'm a part of his group he'd agree and then we're good to go,can't wait to become your wife we'd go together"Scarlett gushed.
"I don't love you and you know that,I'm your boss"Paxton said.
"we're not in a relationship then what are we why do we have s*x frequently"Scarlett asked coming closer.
