I sat up swiftly, rubbing my shoulders with chattering teeth. I might as well have come out from a goddamn freezer. Glancing towards my left, I realized why.
The empty space, which was supposed to be occupied by a hunky incubator, was glaring.
"Argh, where the f**k is he?" I rubbed my shoulders and forearms with greater force, hoping it would generate enough warmth.
As if to taunt me and mock my situation, the cold wind came stronger from the window. My teeth clattered together again, and I feared they would fall off.
