“Adriana, Adriana open up,” the voice urged.
“That voice sounds familiar,” I thought. It sounded just like….”Juan,is that you?” I shouted.
“Yes it's me, please open up now,” he begged. He sounded extremely worried and I wondered what had happened for him to suddenly show up here. I quickly opened the door and he hugged me just as he entered the room.
“I'm so glad you're okay Adriana,” Juan said, hugging me tightly. I stood there in confusion of what was going on and I began to wonder what he had figured out about me already. But the name he called me made me feel at ease of insecurity as he hadn't called me that name in ages.
I couldn't help but hug him too. “I'm very much okay Juan, nothing bad could ever happen to me as long as you're here with me.”
