17 On Monday morning, Dylan Ting hung up the phone after a final briefing from Mitch. He dressed and arrived at the college an hour before class for his first day in front of his new students. He knew what he had to do and say, he knew the risk. He put his phone on silent, stored it away and entered the building, looking for the room number. He found it, took a deep breath and entered the classroom on the second floor of the city college building. He had lectured before, that was no big deal, but he had never lectured to a group of cops or worse still, crims. He walked in from the back of the room and checked out the charts on the wall and what they had been learning to date.
