The alpha and the woman entered the pack leader's den, their hearts pounding in their chests. They had never spoken to him directly before, and they weren't sure how he would react to their news.
The pack leader was a massive black wolf, with piercing blue eyes and a scar across his muzzle. He looked up as they entered, his expression guarded.
"What do you want?" he growled.
The alpha stepped forward, trying to keep his voice steady. "We have information that you need to hear," he said. "There's a member of your pack who is planning an attack on a neighboring pack. We think it's Mira."
The pack leader's eyes narrowed. "Mira?" he repeated. "Are you sure?"
The woman stepped forward, her voice firm. "We heard her discussing it with a group of other wolves," she said. "They're planning to strike soon, while the other pack is weakened."
The pack leader's expression grew darker. "I'll call a meeting," he said. "We'll discuss this in front of the pack. If what you say is true, Mira will be punished."
The alpha and the woman nodded, relieved that their message had been received. They left the den, their hearts still racing.
The meeting was called for that evening, and the entire pack gathered in a clearing in the center of their territory. The pack leader called for silence, and then addressed the group.
"We have received information that one of our own is planning an attack on a neighboring pack," he said. "If this is true, it is a betrayal of everything we stand for. We will not tolerate such behavior."
There was a murmur of agreement from the pack, and then Mira stepped forward. Her expression was defiant, and her eyes flashed with anger.
"This is a lie," she said. "I have never discussed attacking another pack. These two rogues are trying to sow discord among us."
The alpha and the woman exchanged a quick glance. They knew that they had to convince the pack that they were telling the truth.
"We heard you ourselves," the alpha said, stepping forward. "We heard you discussing the attack with a group of other wolves. We know what you're planning."
Mira sneered at them. "Prove it," she said. "If you have evidence, show it to us."
The alpha hesitated, realizing that they didn't have any concrete evidence. They had only overheard the conversation, and had no way to prove that Mira was planning an attack.
But then, unexpectedly, another member of the pack stepped forward. It was a young wolf, with mottled brown and gray fur.
"I can confirm what they're saying," she said. "I was there when Mira discussed the attack. She's planning to strike at the neighboring pack within the week."
There was a shocked silence from the rest of the pack. Mira's expression turned from defiance to anger.
"You traitor," she spat. "How could you betray me like this?"
The pack leader stepped forward, his expression grim. "Mira, you have betrayed the trust of this pack," he said. "You will be punished for your actions."
Mira snarled at him, her eyes blazing with fury. "You can't do this to me," she said. "I'm one of your strongest warriors. You need me."
The pack leader's expression didn't waver. "You have broken the trust of this pack," he repeated. "You will be banished from our territory. If you ever return, you will be treated as an enemy."
Mira growled, her eyes flashing with rage. She turned and stalked away, disappearing into the night
