CHAPTER 2
The girl went on to say that Adrienne always watched the girls while they took a bath & that he threatened his victims to ashame them if they didn't let him touch them but that wasn't the truth because according to Marrinette he would never do such a disgusting thing but........she had no right to interfere . moments later ........ Adrienne was called into the principal's office and made to face the wall which he did though he didn't Know what it was all about. Anyways, some friends of Marrinette were instructed to identify him which they all did then they were further instructed to give whatever information they knew about him which they also did but they left out one fact that the girl Adrienne was so madly in love with is Marrinette.
That day was filled with dark clouds, anger, rage & truth . Marrinette could hear the sound of him being whipped to a point that she could not take it anymore and all she could do was weep he eyes out.Anyways moments later it had begun to rain cats & dogs (Marrinette was already asleep). Adrienne on the other hand was scolded & released from the principal's office while Marrinette had just realised that she didn't pick her cloths from out so she ran out of her dorm only to see some boys standing next to the classes Adrienne was there too.......
She could see the grief in his eyes as he stared at her darkly it was too painful to bare so she picked up her cloths and ran to the & then she went he eyes out till she fell asleep.
THE NEXT DAY...........
Marrinette was so afraid to speak to Adrienne so....she avoided him to an extent of changing her seat and going to sit at the back with the same group of boys she feared. On the other hand when Adrienne entered the class he couldn't find Marrinette. He was getting anxious when all of a sudden he had the sudden urge to look behind which he did and boom! there she was! He was finally at peace so he gestured for her to come but she declined and turned her face to the other side. He couldn't take this and so decided to bring her back & without letting her speak he rushed to explain everything & also showed her his battered fingers that were obviously swollen . she on the other didn't take it lightly & instead broke into tears . Adrienne tried to clean her small round eyes but she pushed him away and told him to stay away from her . Adrienne was left confused but there was nothing he could do as she promised to kill herself if he got close to her and so like a true lover he paid heed to her words and.......stayed away.
They broke all form of contact they had with each other and avoided each other.
A YEAR LATER..........
Her best friend, Michelle noticed that they still truly loved each other and so decided to unite them but all her hard work went down the drain as Marrinette began to think that Michelle was in love with Adrienne and so she killed all the love she had for him thinking he had moved on with her best friend . She now haboured only hatred for him. But Adrienne knew nothing about anything . Since he knew nothing he knew nothing ,he saw her hanging out with a boy, Ariel. She did this to show him that she had also moved on. But unknown to her , Ariel also had a crush on her.
Adrienne saw this and decided,"Two can play this game" but little did he know that he was only pushing her further away from him .
Michelle noticed this and decided to explain everything to Marrinette but she was obviously not ready to listen. Marrinette thought about what her friend had told her and decided to apologise to Adrienne but it was too late as they had finished the exams to go to high school.
Adrienne was left behind sad. As they were traveling she remembered when she lent something to Adrienne and he held her hand so tight she asked him why and he told her he didn't want to lose her or let her go . She smiled to herself remembering this.
