I don’t understand the kind of power I have yet, and neither do I understand what Darius meant when he said the type of powers I have or the fact that I could be a witch.
I don’t know what it means to be a witch, nor why he is angry or disgusted with me, but I want to understand. I want to understand him.
It’s been four days since he left. I retired to my room after every training session and curled myself up to sleep every night.
I felt the absence of Darius every time I trained or sat at the dining table. Cassian and Kieran tried to drag me out of my room, but they failed every time. Soon, they left me be as Kieran got pissed that I hadn’t been listening to him. Cassian feels sad that I haven’t been as jovial as before.
