Niara was startled and momentarily stunned. Was her stepmother a prop used in the setup?
"Everything was returned to me. It was never right to let that girl inside this house in the first place. Pamera exclaimed, "But now, she takes from Siara what was supposed to be hers alone."
She appeared to be among a group of others. Niara never imagined being entangled in something as dubious.
"I told you to trust me with everything, Aunt. I was going to take everything away from her. Along with that, I forced her to lose to a hooker for the first time.
Who would marry a destitute, unreconstructed girl? Joseph extolled himself, saying, "A woman with such a combination drives men away."
"Mum, I advised you to trust Joseph completely. " He has demonstrated his ability to be my spouse," timidly uttered Siara. Pamera remarked, "Congratulations again," and Niara heard a click of glasses.
Were they raising a glass to her demise? She ripped off the doorknob and entered. Upon seeing her, the visitors were taken aback, and for the following few seconds, not a single sound was made.
Niara balled her fist up. A coalition of conspirators is this. She unwittingly fell into their trap as they plotted against her.
She studied each of their faces in turn. There were four of them. Pamera along with her kid Siara . Joseph along with Asma, his mother. It was these individuals that pulled her into the mud.
She would, however, one day rise once more and repay them all for what they had done to her.
"Tic... Tic... Tic, who's this guy? The wife who committed a******y. Do you still have the courage to return here? You threw aside what little shame you still had? " Pamera made fun of.
She peered down Niara's entire length. She approached and circumnavigated her. Before bursting into laughter.
"I assume you've heard all we said. I'll now explain to you how it all began. This was something my good buddy Asma and I had planned for a long time.
In exchange for her son marrying Siara, we had him assist us in carrying out the plans. I married you against your will so that we could later claim everything.
Joseph never touched you or had s*x with you because of that. He can't waste his manliness on an illegitimate daughter like you since he will be Siara's.
You were drugged by Joseph, and that was the only reason we threw the party. You already know the remainder of the story you were linked up with a dude.
You have no right to be in this house. Pamera said without regret, "All I have done for you and the years I have accommodated you is all you will have and live in that memory."
Niara resisted the need to cry. She won't come across as weak in front of them, or else they will make fun of her the most.
"What have I ever done to you to deserve this?" Theresa Mo enquired. She's curious as to why she did this. Is it because her father gave Sara and her a portion of his wealth? After all, she is the oldest; or was it because her parents were married before she was born?
"Because you are John's daughter by infidelity," Pamera retorted, giving her a glance before taking a sip from her glass.
Siara lifted her finger to reveal the golden wedding band on her finger and stated, "Joseph and I got married, Niara, we are happy."
"Siara, congratulations. I hope the two of you find the happiness you so richly deserve.
In response, Niara noticed Joseph squinting.
Joseph realized that she was truly cursing them rather than wishing them well.
Though he was unable to respond to what she had said, he was aware that Niara had only revenged in mind for them.
Although he was a little uneasy with Pamera's treatment of Niara, he was unable to undo what he had done at that time.
His mother coerced him into doing this by promising him immense fame and fortune if he finally wed a legitimate daughter.
And for what more was Theresa waiting? She turned around and walked away. She turned to face the house that embodied her childhood memories as she opened the door and locked it.
When she and Siara play like puppies, her father holds them on his shoulders or thighs. But from now on, that house was off-limits to her.
The door jammed on its own when she released it. She left the enclosure quickly, and the tears she had been keeping back started to fall freely.
She was lost as she strolled along the street. She ran across an old school friend while meandering along the street.
Rosa called "Niara" and hurried to embrace her. Niara noticed a lot of people turning to look at her at that point. Abruptly, a swiftly moving vehicle sped past, causing Niara and Rosa to falter due to the wind from the vehicle.
Niara, what's wrong with you? Are you willing to die? Rosa glared at her while yelling at her. Her face was red and puffy, and she appeared worn out.
"Thank you, Rosa," Niara murmured. Rosa had just moved out of the middle of the road, or she would have been knocked down moments ago.
Perhaps it was for the best that she hadn't died. Her misery will end when she joins her parents. Rosa shouldn't have pulled her; she ought to have passed away.
The people murmured something to her.
Some shook their heads and walked away, mocking her, while others showed sympathy.
While some gave her stern warnings, others just growled and left. Rosa led her aside while holding her hand.
"Where are you going, Niara?" Rosa inquired. When she last heard, a few months ago, Niara had a low-key wedding with a certain guy.
Why does she appear to be so unhappy? Where are her sister and husband? If her memory serves her correctly, she has a younger sister named Siara.
With an "I don't know," Niara said. She had nowhere to go and no place to call home. Maybe she can spend the night in a comfortable spot on a street corner.
" You say you don't know what? What is your residential address? " Rosa inquired. She is undoubtedly married and resides with her spouse. She also has a place on Marly's estate.
" Rosa, I don't have a house anywhere. I'm a curious person. Niara murmured, her eyes welling with tears," Maybe you should have abandoned me a long ago so that that automobile might smash me instead of protecting me.
Rosa comprehended. There were undoubtedly problems in her marriage, and she felt unable to go back to Marly's estate. She remained silent and didn't ask her any more questions.
Niara followed her inside the cab when she had hailed one and shoved her inside. After giving the driver her address, she was driven home by him.
Rosa shared a little home with her brother and mother. Little because it's nothing in comparison to her childhood and living environment.
Many years ago, Rosa's mother watched her daughter come home with her friend. She gave them each a warm welcome. But she stopped asking after noticing Niara's dejected expression.
Niara was taken in and entertained by Rosa's mother and brother. After eating, she took a bath. Rosa's mother allowed her to use the guest room for the duration of her visitation at their home.
Niara never would have thought that an old acquaintance could treat her so well. She continued to cry. Her family has grown to be her old pals, and she has grown to be their old friend. What a paradox.
After two days, Theresa started to smile a little at Rosa's brother's little jokes. Four days later, Niara was a little happier and spoke openly with them, but no one had asked her what had occurred to her a few days earlier.
With the current family, she remained reticent but also displayed some freedom. That night, Rosa's mother phoned Niara, Rosa, and Rosa's daughter to find out what had transpired.
