ESSENCE

"Welcome back readers! Thank you for checking out the next chapter even though the whole story is a little bit messy but I promise it's totally worth it, let's go back to our bunch of misfits and see if they can actually save their dearest Papa." Essence says manically and laughs out loud slowly fading away.

The group stares at the portal. Gboyega panics around, Richard looks for his cigarette, Ngozi sits down on a chair far from the others and Ayo moves closer to the portal. Ayo turns around and faces the team.

"We need to go inside the portal." Says Ayo, Gboyega moves closer to him and questions his idea.

"No way." Gboyega says and turns around, Ayo stares at him in disgust knowing that this isn't the same Gboyega he knew before they left the house.

"We're going in whether you like it or not." Ayo voice gets higher and he folds his hands. Richard moves between them and chuckles.

"Why are we wasting precious time?" Richard says and jumps into the portal, Ngozi quickly jumps off from the chair and move to the others.

"Well we can't just let him die." Ngozi says and jumps into the portal while Ayo grabs Gboyega left hand and drags him, Gboyega knowing he has no other choice sighs and follows.

Richard wakes up and finds himself outside, the whole place is filled with waters. Richard wanders around for a little bit and can't find a way out, he doesn't really care about his present situation and is more bothered about his cigarette he searches the clothes on his body but can't find it.

"s**t!" Richard cries out, he then sits on the watery floor, squeezes his eyes and tries to teleport out of the place but his powers aren't working. Suddenly Ayo, Ngozi and Gboyega appear beside him, Richard stands up and hugs Ayo out of excitement, Ayo pushes him. Gboyega looks around.

"Where are we? Ayo can't you use your robotic powers and scan this place?" Gboyega asked, Ayo faces his head down.

"I don't use my powers anymore." Ayo voice shakens, Ngozi moves closer to him.

"You won't or you can't?" She stares at Ayo very deeply.

"Hello!" The team suddenly hear a disoriented voice of Essence and all start looking around out of fear Ngozi summons Huffcupp. Richard sighs, he has always hated Huffcupp they never got along and Huffcupp feels Richard is trying to hurt Ngozi.

"Not the white gorilla again." Richard says sacred,The whole ground start shaking and the team quickly gather around Huffcupp.

"We'll need him." Says Gboyega.

Essence appears in front of them smiling manically, Richard pushes Ayo to talk for them. Ayo moves closer to Essence and starts questioning him.

"Who are you?" Ayo asked, he's robot eye starts blinking to fast, Essence notices the group are scared of him and starts laughing manically again.

"Call me Essence you bunch of losers." Says Essence.

"That's a very shitty name, you expect us to take you serious with that name." Richard says and let's out a huge chuckle, Huffcupp slaps him at the back of his head and Richard immediately keeps quiet. Gboyega who has a very short temper moves forward to Essence.

"We are completely wasting time here, Where is Papa Essence?" Gboyega shouted, Essence jumps around and replies.

"He is probably somewhere suffering right now." Essence gently tells them, Gboyega hand start heating up and fireballs start sparking out his hands.

"Guys, get away from me this might get a litibit messy." Gboyega says already losing his temper.

" Let the fun begin." Essence snaps his fingers.

Gboyega suddenly finds himself on the roadside with people running away from a very drastic explosion. Gboyega starts shivering knowing this particular place he couldn't feel his powers anymore.

"What I'm I doing here? Someone get me out of here!" Gboyega cries out, this particular place holds a strong and painful memory in him, Gboyega starts hearing Essence voice but can't find him.

Gboyega and everyone in the environment suddenly stop moving, Essence appears and starts talking.

"Readers! Meet Gboyega, a young Supernatural who can control fire and had no absolute control over it in the past. It ruined his life and he was treated like a total outcast but why do I have to continue to spoil this things for you, I'm sure you'll know more when you continue reading."

Essence chuckles and vanishes, everyone starts moving again. Gboyega starts moving to the place of the explosion, he clearly isn't doing this by himself he tries to move back but Essence is in control of his body. Gboyega continues to struggles but he gets to the scene of the explosion, he sweats heavily and he sees the burnt body of Gbemi.

"Gbemi." Gboyega rolls around on the ground, his heart starts beating very fast, he screams and cries out for help but there was no way he was getting out of this nightmare.

Ayo finds himself in a very tiny kitchen. Ayo has a very high IQ due to the robot parts on him, he could have easily scanned where he was but he chose not to, he had vowed to never use his powers again.

"What's going on?" Ayo quietly walks around, Ayo suddenly stops moving and Essence appears in front of him.

"Readers! Meet Ayo, This dumbass got his powers by mistake, just like me. He has made alot of mistakes in his lifetime but I don't need to spoil all the juicy secrets." Essence disappears and Ayo body starts moving again, Ayo stares at a tiny window and he sees himself in a full robot form without any human part. Ayo quickly shifts back and looks around so he could possibly escape, he has felt like a monster for a very long time and tries to accept his humanity in so many possible ways but has failed countless times.

"That isn't who I am." Ayo talks confidently, the robotic figure comes out of the mirror. Ayo starts to stammer a and shakes.

"It is you, it's us Ayo." Says the robot, a lady comes into the kitchen with a baby. Ayo knows who this lady is, he quickly turns his face around cause he can't face her, the robot moves to the woman and punches her on the guy. Ayo bends down and his robotic parts start malfunctioning, tears gushes out from his eyes.

"No, no, no ,no." Says Ayo as his voice shakens, Essence appears in front of him and smiles.

"It's who you are, this is why you stopped using your powers Ayo. You can't change what you already are." Essence says and snaps his finger.

Richard finds himself in a large room, he lays on the floor and is facing a large bed. Richard clearly knows where he is but how he got there he doesn't know. Richard wanders around for a minute and tries to look for a way out, he immediately starts chuckling.

"You really think this will hurt me? My mother is the Queen of illusions. I'll just sit and wait till you get tired." Richard rants, time suddenly stops moving and Essence appears in front of Richard and slaps him.

"Dear Readers, meet Richard also a Supernatural who has the ability of teleportation, a kid in a man's body." Essence vanishes and Richard body starts moving again, a woman and man suddenly appear on the bed.

"What the f**k?" Richard shifts back, he sees the entrance door to the room and uses all his might to open it but the door stays shut. The man tries to remove the woman's dress but she pushes him down on the bed and brings out a knife from under the bed, the man tries to hold her down but she successfully stabs him right through the head. Richard cries out and sits down on the floor grabbing his head with his hands, he felt pain and betrayal from seeing that.

"Why would you do that Mom?" Richard sniffs and tears roll down from his eyes, he had seen what he has always been trying to avoid.

Ngozi and Huffcupp find themselves in a cabin house, Huffcupp quickly stays behind Ngozi to protect her.

"It's going to be fine." Huffcupp tries to calm her down cause he knows how dangerous her powers can get when she's stressed.

Ngozi tries to look away and quickly hugs Huffcupp to not see anything, Huffcupp suddenly fades away.

"No." Ngozi stretches her left hand but Huffcupp body had already turned into dust, Essence appears in front of her. Ngozi grabs his neck and stares at him in a very vicious way.

"What did you do to him?" She said boldly, Essence giggles.

"Nothing, he's just back into that amulet of yours." He snaps his fingers and time suddenly stops, Essence pushes Ngozi out of the way.

"Readers. Please stay with me, meet Ngozi the girl with the special amulet that has been passed on from woman to woman. Her grandmother gave it to her but this one is very easy to break unlike the others." Essence says and vanishes A strange man appears holding the hand of a little girl, Ngozi kneels down and covers her eyes.

"Please stop this." Her voice shakens, she starts getting really scared and her amulet starts levitating. The man removes the clothes of the young girl.

"That's enough!" Ngozi stands up boldly and her eyes colours quickly change to a very deep black colour. A dark gas suddenly starts appearing around the room, one of her imaginary friend was emerging but Ngozi never used that one cause it had some kind of control over her. This particular friend only came out once when Ngozi was in very deep danger, a albino woman covered by black feathers around her body with a black hat and deeply black high heels appears beside Ngozi. The name of this strange woman was Tina, Tina summoned a dark power ball that starts expanding around the room. Essence appears again and starts getting scared.

"s**t! it's Tina, I don't have the energy to face her I guess you bunch of fools are lucky this time. Thanks to Ngozi and her dearest imaginary friend, next time don't come after your dearest Papa." Essence laughs, his voice slowly fades away and he snaps his finger.
