Soft music greeted my ears as soon as the doors opened. Followed by the beautiful sight of people dancing. Different colours of gowns and tuxs could be seen from where I stood. But the music and soft noises didn't last that long because the moment I entered, all eyes were on me. Like literally. "Well, well. The bride has arrived. " I heard a woman say and I turned to see a beautiful woman standing nearby. She had dirty blonde hair tied in a bun and a stylish dark blue gown. The crowd suddenly erupted into cheers while I was directed to my seat at a table nearby. Well. It was more like a throne and I was made to seat on the smaller one while the bigger one remained empty. Wait a minute. Did she just say the bride. I was a little bit confused but then I just brushed it off. Maybe it was a slip of the tongue. I'm sure she didn't really mean it. Or did she? Arrgh. I need to ask Noemie about this. I reached for my purse but then I totally forgot I gave it to Noemie.... with my phone inside. How the hell am I supposed to get her now? Hmmm. Maybe I could ask one of the butlers walking around. Just on cue, one of the butlers came in with a tray on which he carried flutes of champagne. "Would you like some champagne your highness? " Bride, your highness. What's going on here. What's up with these people? "Um. Yeah sure. " I took one glass needing to swallow it down with my anxiousness. "Wait up. I need to ask you a favor. " He looked a bit hesitant at first but eventually came closer. "I need you to find a woman and bring her here. Her name is Sol Noemie Archer. She is blonde with big baby blue eyes. She... " I didn't need to continue any longer because his eyes shone with recognition and he nodded and moved away. Well. That was really weird. Like anything else here if you ask me. I waited for about ten minutes when Noemie came in rushing towards me like her life depended on it. "Hey Silver. How've you been doing? "She said whispering as if she was afraid someone will hear her. "Oh. Um well. But would you mind explaining why these people here all act like weirdos. I mean. When I entered, the woman called me bride. I believe it was just a slip of the tongue but what if its not. This is a catastrophe.... " "Silver, Silver" She whispered again in my ear as if afraid someone will hear her. What's the deal with her again. "Noemie. Why are you whispering my name. And what's the deal with this place anyway. " She suddenly looked teary. "Silver. I'm so sorry. " she said before she ran off somewhere. I wanted to run after her but as soon as I was two feet away from my seat, two humongous men about 7ft each blocked my way. I looked up at them and gave them a quizzical look before turning around deciding to pass beside them. One of them stepped in front of me but this time I was already getting pissed off. "Um. Excuse me sir. Do you need something? " I asked keeping a straight face. "You highness. I'm afraid we cannot let you go any further than this. " "What the hell is wrong here. Your highness, bride. Do you think this is some kind of joke? I thought this was a fashion parade but then. Not a single model in view. Hell. There's not even a stage. Now answer me. What's going on here? " I asked my voice sounding harsher than I actually wanted it to. Um. They suddenly looked uncomfortable. One of them was about to answer when of course ladies and gentlemen, like in all those cliché movies... The music and the noise stopped once again. But this time, the air was different. More charged. Filled with a heavenly but yet powerful presence that sent shivers along my spine. "Well then. Looks like the groom has arrived. The marriage celebration can finally begin. " The woman from earlier said and my heart stopped. What the on earth is going on here?
