Hannah’s POV My mom was coming to Seattle for my birthday. This shouldn't have been an issue, but it was. I knew my mom, and there was a reason we hadn't seen each other in close to a year - we didn't see eye to eye, and not just with little things, but with major things. Like her life decisions, for one. I mean who said it was okay for her to take up a second mortgage on her house, run up her credit card bills, and put Bob in the uncomfortable position of having to work harder to keep up with all of this - just because she got bored at regular jobs.
