A SCARY NIGHT AT SOOD'S RETREAT

Next morning me and my husband thought of taking a walk of the resort.The resort was just beautiful with colourful blooms and lush green carpet grass.I was really mesmerised with the beauty of the resort.The surprise was never ending and I found a basketball court .It was like finding my long lost love for the game.I started playing the game all by myself and then I found a swing. It was as if god was granting all my wishes on that day.After a game of basketball I went hopping to the swing and started to swing.Suddenly a gush of wind came through my ears and I felt like someone whispered my name A..R..U..P......A! It was so...scary.I told my husband that I wanted to go to our room but he insisted on enjoying the scenic beauty.The resort was on a mountain and surrounded by deep valleys. A local gardener was working on the garden and I saw his wife bringing him food from a shack they had behind the resort rooms.The lady asked me if I wanted something. I said no but the whisper was bothering me all this time.I told her my experience and she looked at her husband's face.The gardener said memsahib it's the mountain wind.It plays around with people's mind.Please do not bother.My husband now asked me to come to the verandah of the resort and have some darjeeling tea.After the hot cup of tea I felt bit refreshed. I went inside and took my shower.After lunch again we caught up on a movie.Night falls very quickly on mountains.After a quick and hot dinner we dozed off.After half an hour I felt an arm wrapped around my waist and heavy breathing sounds in my ear.At first I thought it's my husband clasping me from behind but when I opened my eyes I saw my husband sleeping infront of me with his back towards my face.I got the scare of my life,then who is behind me? I thought to myself. The presence was still there with heavy breathing sounds in my ears.I jumped upright and sat on my bed and started coughing very badly.I was gasping for breath and my throat went completely dry .I wanted to wake my husband up and tell him everything but he was sleeping so sound I didn't feel like waking him up.I was scared to death but my coughing would not stop.I saw the wall clock and it was almost 3.30 a.m.My husband woke up and gave me some hot water to drink.He stroked my hair while I slept. I got up at around 7 in the morning and had some coffee.Always remember coffee is a very good medicine for coughs and cold especially asthma .Yes asthma ,I was diagnosed with it after I came back home.Thats another story. After a lot of struggling I told my husband about the whisper at the swing and last night's story. My husband laughed it off obviously. This was the first time in my life that I was experiencing all this.My husband planned a visit to a monastery that day.We went to the monastery and while returning he bought me a beautiful pink dress material and a pink heel shoes.I was very happy. We returned to the resort and by now it was dark.We took our dinner and slept off.I made my husband sleep behind me today.I recited some prayers and slept. At around 1 o clock the bathroom shower got on.The water was making gushing sounds. It woke me up .I went inside the bathroom to close the shower.Suddenly I saw the geyser on.I remembered putting it off after my shower.Still I put it off.After coming inside the room I felt smoke every where and it was choking me.It was a bad burning smell.I started coughing again .My loud coughing woke up my husband. He made some coffee for me.I asked my husband whether he could see any smoke or smell anything burning. He said no.My mind was getting really confused.
