I kicked him so hard that he flew across the field and yelped in pain. “Marie…. Stop…. What are you doing?” My dad yelled at me when I used a full force kick to my partner during a spar in the training ground and I closed my eyes. I sat down on the floor on my knees while kneeling down. The pain of rejection was killing me. Augustin’s behaviour on the previous day made me realize that I am not good enough to have a mate in this life span.
