I was waiting for Marie in the packhouse. It was the whole day that I didn’t see her due to that Alphas meeting. All the alphas were worried for their pack members especially girls born in that particular month. They also told us that a few girls were killed during the rogue attacks on their packs who exactly matched these criteria. It was now obvious that they were behind Marie, but we didn’t reveal this to them. It was our secret, and we knew how to keep our pack member let alone the future Luna safe from every danger.
