Chapter 4 The next morning Lianne awoke feeling more refreshed than she’d felt in months, possibly years. Bits of the previous night remained fuzzy, but for the most part, she remembered everything that had transpired between her and Ravenna. She wasn’t sure if having such a lucid memory was a good thing or a bad thing. Through the partially open curtains, she could see the sun was just beginning to rise. Lianne rolled over on the sofa, lying in the quietness as she reflected on everything that had happened. Nothing about the pasty twenty-four hours made sense. Even the fact she’d been so drawn to the club wasn’t at all like her. Lianne seldom frequented clubs since she hated the atmosphere. Submitting so willingly to a stranger, that was also a new development. She closed her eyes again
