Mason The time didn't seem to pass away, it was only so much I could take. I came into the class five minutes late and it had already been fifteen minutes, yet my concentration was everywhere but what the teacher had to say about some organisms that were not visible to our naked eyes, as he put it. My emotions were bubbling up and I had no control over them, one moment I felt like destroying all the furniture in the room and the next moment I felt like bawling my eyes out at what I registered in the bathroom. David was sitting in the third row but I could feel his eyes on me. I didn't understand why I was receiving that intimate attention from him, but whatever it was I liked it. He was the only person who cared enough to ask me how I was doing from the inside, regardless of not knowing
