STAN POV
I was so angry at the way she was speaking to me, but when the weight of what she had just said and the panic I could feel building within her, had my anger subsided instantly! I quickly closed the distance between us and wrapped her up in my embrace! I could feel her body tremble as her breathing became labored. "I need you to tell me what the effects are that this has caused!" I said as she wrapped her arms around me. Her grip on my shirt was so impossibly tight that I thought she would rip through the material with her nails! "Baby breath!"
I began rubbing her back in an attempt to calm her, as I also tried to calm myself. How in the f**k had I not known about this?! How could I have put my mate in danger?!
"I actually don't know what the effects are!" Came the muff
