Ray I couldn’t see his face, however, whoever it was, was intimidating and was carrying a good capacity to capture anybody’s mind and soul. The strange man’s back was facing me, and, honey bell, he was producing lots of bolt of lightning from his both hands. Oh! Honey bell! “What is it, Ray?” Linda’s chirpy voice tried to interrupt me, but didn’t succeed, because I was completely lost in the scene before me. Whatever was in front me was unaccustomed and strange. I had never seen even a single living being while producing bolts of lightning. Was it the same thing from which my parents were protecting me? If that was the case, I’d no option rather than hiding myself somewhere. Before my quivering hands could close the window, the thunder flashed a thin thread of lightening and sky cracked, making a heart wrenching sound. This time it was too loud, a scream escaped my mouth; which was a biggest mistake of my life. The dreadful sound faded slowly, even though, the scene, which unfolded before me was scary. Thunder had stopped it’s work and was now leisurely turning towards me. Honey bell! My legs were turning wobbly in anxiety, loosing a strength to run backwards. I didn’t know why it was happening to me. My heart was screaming and screaming to shut the window close– no use. Nobody had that strength to help me. I was the only one to help myself, therefore, I quickly snapped the door shut. However, my eyes had managed to hold the globe of blue light on the the face part of the thunder. Obviously, IT WAS AWFUL! FOUR HOURS LATER Me and my dear innocent friends were then on the bed, thinking thoroughly about how to spend rest of the night, in middle of crackers of thunder. My heart was hammering with every crack of thunder. Actually, not only mine but also of my friends, especially, Linda, who had hugged herself body with utter care. “When this is going to finish?” Linda said, her words quivering, depicting her fear. Whom she had asked, I had no idea. Even though, Jimmy preferred to answer her question. “If I had a contact with Thunder, I would have definitely answered that particular question of yours,” said Jimmy, and automatically my face snapped at him. I understood, he had said it to just lighten our mood, though, he didn’t know that his words had a meaning. As Jimmy was a human being, he surely had no idea about the of flower queen existence, nor he had a little idea about the existence of supernatural powers. Therefore, for him, for making fun of Thunder was like fun. Only I was the one, who was aware of such things, and, I was the only one who was dying with precipitation of anxiety. The burning blue globe had already seen me – again, I’d no idea, whether he had eyes or not. Then, again, once again, the Thunder produced a great, yet heart-wrenching sound, it brought goose bumps on my skin. I had understood, whoever it was, doing it purposely. Since it had seen me, the thunder had increased its sound and had made it more horrible than before. Now, I’d question, how to stop it. The condition of Linda, Belle and Everett was in not good at all. Belle and Everett had cowered themselves under my bed, even though, I could sense their little movements of fear. I was feeling handicapped by all that. Souls of my friends were drained by the dread of Thunder, and I was not in condition to do something for them. It made me angry. It raised strength in me to fight against that irritating and dreadful Thunder. All fear, which I’d, flit in one second, as soon as I decided to stamp out from my room, my house and ask, so called Thunder, about its intention. “It’s killing me,” Linda’s word shook as she hugged my blanket close to her body. “When it is going to stop?” “Soon,” I declared, courageously, jumping on my feet with all strength I had. “I’m going out to stop it.” My declaration seemed didn’t chilled Linda’s fear, as well as of my little friends– Belle and Everett– in my mind I sensed their anxiety about me. “What do you mean by you are going to stop it?” Linda asked, eyes widened. If it had been possible for me to answer her confused question, I might have done it. “You don’t worry, Linda. I’ll do everything okay, okay?” I assured her, even though, I was not confident about myself. “Are you kidding me,” Linda frowned, “You are declaring it, as if it is in your hand. Nobody can do anything, nobody,” she shook her head, putting it down. Then, she startled, as Thunder stamped its bolt on the earth, once again. And I finalized to go out, and face whatever comes in front me. I brought strength in my wobbly legs and paraded towards the exit door of my room. “Stop!” I halted on my spot by Jimmy’s voice. He was on bed before, and now he was rushing towards me with utter worry in his eyes. “How do you think you are going to stop,” -- he narrowed his fore finger up at the ceiling, -- “it,” his eyes widened. “It’s impossible.” Deep in me I knew, Jimmy was right. To stop Thunder was not at all in my hand, even though I wanted to try. I wanted to face the danger, as my soul was giving me some signals – positive as well as negative. I followed positive. Whatever dad had told me – I wanted to check it. If I was in some danger and, if Thunder wanted to hurt me – I was curious to know, why was it. “I’ve to go, Jimmy,” I said, veins of neck taut, courageously. “But,” Jimmy was about to say something. He gulped back those words and directed his words on other way. “I’m coming with you, then.” “Why_” “Environment isn’t good, Ray,” he interrupted my disapproval, “Please, let me come with you, and allow me to help in whatever you’ll be doing.” How could I have accepted it? Jimmy’s accompany was meant for revelation of my identity. If I had to face Thunder, I had to show it my real identity. And it wasn’t obviously not good for Jimmy. He would have not only come to known about my true identity, but he would have put his life in danger. To put human being’s life in danger was, obviously, a huge crime in our flower world. “Let’s go, Ray.” My dangling thoughts paused as soon as Jimmy said it, and pushed the door of my room open to move out. Actually, he was already out then. Before I could stop him, he sealed my words by saying: “If you want to do something, Ray, do it. Don’t delay it because of some nasty fear.” Nasty fear! Yes, I was dealing with some nasty fear. I had to fight with it, so I could have lived my life as I wanted. But was that easy for me? Of course, not! OUT, IN THE RAIN... I, means, we – I and Jimmy, had managed to walk out from my house with wobbling feet. As we had predicted, climate was bad. I would say, it was worse. Thunder was flashing its light in such a appalling way, it scared hell out me. However, as I’d decided to fight against my biggest fear, I suppressed it and grasped the stick of my favourite pink umbrella in my hand. “Now, where are we going to go?” Jimmy’s voice cracked, as he walked and stood beside me, holding his black umbrella. Droplets of his umbrella streamed on my shoulder. I moved forward, and jumped, obviously, ‘because Thunder threw it’s stick on the ground with a great force. Ground beneath me was wet, causing my already dirty shoes to get more dirty. “What are you going to do, Ray?” Jimmy questioned, struggling with his dancing umbrella. In reality, I didn’t have a little idea what I am going to do next. To protect my proud I didn’t say it loudly. I preferred silence over Jimmy’s question. Then, I turned my gaze right and then left, to see a better way to be face to face with Thunder. “We’ll go there,” I declared, stretching my right hand towards right direction. There were some small bushes on the way; however, I could see the dark cotton of rain cloud. It seemed, as if, a weird monster had spread it’s darkness around the place– the monster was non-other-than Thunder. “Why there?” Jimmy asked. It caused me to think. “Um,” I trailed, “we’ll get something there.” “What is that?” Jimmy hurled one more question on me. It raised my annoyance. Next thing I did was I marched towards the area without bothering to look back at Jimmy. “Hey wait!” He ran behind me, catching my pace, and I didn’t listen to him. I kept on walking and walking till I reach on the open ground. Clouds were cracking, flashing light, dreadfully. This time it didn’t scare me that much. I looked back at Jimmy, and found him struggling with bushes. His blue shirt was catching the thorns in bushes. Well, thorns and bushes didn’t try to annoy me that much. Obviously, because I was a queen of flowers. In reality bushes had done a great job to hold Jimmy. Jimmy’s accompany to me meant a danger to his life, and bushes knew it very. As per the nature rule, no one was allowed to involve humans in our problems. So, therefore, bushes were doing their job perfectly. Hope, they would do it very well. I continued my pace, praying Jimmy to be safe. As I began walking, voice of thunder started rising, like it had sensed my arrival. I could feel something in me, though; I couldn’t afford to halt myself. After walking for a while, I stood in middle of the ground, where I’d seen the back of so- called- Thunder. Now, there was no one there, except the silence mingled with drops of rain. But, it was just a play of Thunder. “You had seen me earlier, didn’t you?” I quickly turned back when a deep, yet, heart sinking voice spoke with a flowing charm. “ Ray, Nice to meet you,” Thunder chuckled. HONEY BELL!
