Chapter 7

The paste need to stay on face for at least an hour so Meng Yu decided to fill his stomach in the meantime. Looking at the fishes swimming in the lake, he showed a greedy look. But before that he must find some spices.

Although he got the wood ability, its a pity that he can't make the impossible possible, such as making the trees walk and do chores for him. He can feel everything in the forest but its limited to that. If he want the pepper plant in the southern direction to walk towards him...of course it is not possible.

Looking at the forest and then at the lake, Meng Yu sighed. How he wish there would be someone who would do all the work for him. Maybe he should get some servant but the thought of some stranger staying with him makes Meng Yu uncomfortable.

He walked around the forest feeling every plants and their emotions. Most of the plants seemed to be very happy. Mostly plants emotion were based on the environment they like in. It seems like this forest is a very good place.

As Meng Yu was walking around he suddenly felt something strange. In front he felt some sort of energy, something powerful.

Meng Yu narrowed his eyes while looking in the direction. He saw a cave in a distance and he was sure that the energy is coming from inside. 

He calmly turned around and walked in the opposite direction. Heh, how many many movies and novels he had seen and read. In this situation, him going inside would lead to only two situation. One finding a girl in trouble, other some powerful monster guarding a treasure.

He is clearly not interested in any girl and as for treasure, sorry but no treasure have any use for him.

But its a pity that, just as he walked a few steps he felt a pull on his left hand. Meng Yu didn't expect the sudden pull and staggered a few steps. He looked at his hand in surprise, only to see the ring in his hand emitting a white glow while pulling him towards the cave.

Meng Yu looked at the ring, that had followed him for more than ten years, thinking if he should just throw away the ring and walk away. He signed and walk towards the cave.

Although his steps are relaxed and calm, if someone could see the energy around him they would have seen that they were in high vigilance, ready to attack at any moment.

As he got near the cave, he felt the energy more and more stronger that even the air around seems to be thinner. He surrounded himself with his ability and took a deep breath, before walking inside.

The deeper he went the darker the cave became and the stronger he felt the presence of the powerful being. Meng Yu can only pray whatever inside would not be a enemy. Although he had confidence in himself, he was not idiotic enough to challenge whatever inside.

As he felt the presence closer and closer, he suddenly saw a little light in front. As he walked closer, he found to his surprise that in front of him was what looked like an array. The lights were emitting from some spirit stones scattered around

When he was studying medicine with his grandfather, he learned some basic concept of array but he felt that it was not his thing, so he didn't continue. He looked at all the lines which were like a maze and all the points connecting at a point in center.

He can be sure that what was before him was an array, one that was way too advanced for his knowledge. But the question is, what this array is for.

As Meng Yu was in deep thought, he suddenly felt danger. The instinct he cultivated for eight years in apocalypse came online and he subconsciously moved aside while various roots came from ground, attacking the place where he felt the threat.

"Oh"

A surprised sound was heard and before the roots could touch anything, there caught fire and burned up.

From the light of fire, Meng Yu saw a man. He seemed to be about 190 cm tall with long white hair. His face is seem to sculptured by god that can make anyone fall in love with one glance and his red eyes were filled with indifference.

Meng Yu felt the excitement from the ring in his hand as if it want to pounce on the man and thought, he also want pounce on the man. But suddenly something caught his eyes. It was the ring on the man's finger, which is surprisingly similar to the one he was wearing.

Yu Cheng looked at the strange 'green' faced boy. He clearly felt no spiritual power from the boy but what happened before made him understand that the boy of not simple. He clearly used forty percent of his just now but the boy dodged it easily. 

One must know, forty percent of his power in this lower realm is no joke. Besides he doesn't understand how the boy used the plant to attack him, when he doesn't even have a wisp of spiritual energy.

He never thought that his trip to lower real this time would let him meet such a strange person. But now he have far more important thing to do than to care about this boy. Feeling the energy in his body making a havoc, Yu Cheng can only use his qi to suppress it and then he looked at the boy and said in a cold voice

"Leave"

Even the voice is so good, was Meng Yu's first thought. But he didn't lose his mind because of beauty. Looking at the man's sudden pale face, he understood that there is some problem in the man's body. In normal situation if he faced a man like this, he would have walked away.

But now the man in question was just his type and what more there is also the ring. Meng Yu soon made a decision......
