Edwina's POV...
The sounds I heard after Becca's announcement sounded like a cathedral bell. The earth moved underneath me, and all that mattered was whether Sonia would be okay.
We practically ran the rest of the way to the guest quarters, hurrying to Sonia's room. I found her seated on the couch, her legs outstretched on the table. Athena was by her side, blowing her some air with a large hand fan. It looked amusing, considering the fact that the air conditioner was on full blast.
"What the hell happened?" I asked, feeling my heart moving out of place.
Sonia gave me a swift glance before turning her head to the side. She obviously isn't ready to respond to me. Instead, I turned my attention to Athena. My forehead was sweaty.
