Exhaustion reeked through the whole of my body as I threw myself into the bed. Spending the whole day next to Sonia was one hell of a draining job. I really appreciate the caretakers and helpers who stay by sick people.
My back aches badly. I had been sitting all day, ensuring that she didn't move her leg too much and end up straining it. Becca had offered to sit in place, but I had declined. And also, I told Athena to rest for the day since she was all out looking after her sick mother.
