Ada’s brain buzzed with the information they’d gleaned. Bart and his sons were responsible for the livestock thefts and, by the sounds of it, the stolen vehicles too. It sounded as if Sherry was in the dark. That made sense. Sherry was a popular lady and universally liked. Learning of her husband’s and sons’ skullduggery would distress her.
