Zack was still finishing up in the shower when Susan walked out feeling satisfied and relaxed from an earth-shattering orgasm after orgasm. She chose a nice blue top and white shorts with just a lip gloss to complete her look.
Packing away the rest of the clothes, Susan relaxed on the bed as Zack got ready for their trip back home. Pretty soon, they were piling up in his car to drive away, taking a different route to enjoy their last free night, before they got back to their work.
Susan propped up her feet as Zack drove through the highway, stopping at some parks to take some pictures and enjoy the beautiful view.
As they were driving, a truck passed them from the left, going at a speed of approximately 80kmph rashly. At the moment, all Susan thought was that it must be a drunk driver enjoying the free highway.
All of a sudden, Susan found herself thrown out of the windshield of their car as it came to an abrupt halt. All she felt was numbness probably from the shock. Trying to open her eyes, all she saw was a hazy image of Zack lying on his side unconscious with his head on the steering wheel barely moving. She shook him to wake up but he was unresponsive. Trying to get her bearings, she crawled out of the windshield, feeling a sharp pain in her stomach from a piece of glass that had pierced her under the ribs.
She got out of the car, to lay down on the road. Digging inside her pocket to get to her phone, she dialed 911. After relaying her message to the dispatcher, Susan lost consciousness.
Waking up to the sudden sound of a door closing, Susan looked at two strange men leaning down at her. Feeling numb and unable to move, Susan widened her eyes in fear.
"Maam, my name is Dan, I am a paramedic. We are going to a hospital. Your husband is in the other ambulance. Don't worry, everything will be ok. Is there someone we can call to notify them of your whereabouts?"
Although Susan could perfectly understand him, she couldn't speak to inform him about anything. Her voice just wouldn't cooperate. She tried opening her mouth to tell him about Robbie but nothing came out. Giving up, she went back to sleep. That seemed easier and more relaxing than panicking.
Next, Susan woke to the rhythmic sound of a machine beeping. Looking around, she saw a dozen machines attached to her in some way or another. The room was dark with only the hallway light as the only source of brightness. With her throat itching, she looked around for water, only to notice a cup towards the foot's side of the bed. Unable to comprehend anything else or call someone, she again lost consciousness.
Susan woke up again to the sound of low murmurs. Slowly opening her eyes, she was greeted by a lovely middle-aged woman and two other ladies in a scrub.
"Hello, I am Dr. Kelp and I am your attending physician. You are at the local hospital just a little outside of Columbus. Now, can you tell me how you are feeling?" Said the beautiful looking woman, Dr. Kelp.
Susan nodded her head as if to say fine but with her throat dry, she couldn't form proper words. All that came out was a croak. Lifting her head an inch, she was helped by the two nurses, as a cup of water was handed to her, which she drank greedily.
Taking a few moments to adjust herself to her surroundings, she noticed that the room was a double bedroom with a curtain drawn in the middle. Feeling tired and a little panicky, she turned to Dr. Kelp for information.
"What happened?" in a somewhat normal voice.
"What do you remember dear?" asked the doctor.
"I remember driving with my boyfriend, we were heading back to our town, Dayton. I remember our car crashed into a truck. Oh my god, what happened to Zack? Where is he?" Susan asked in a panic because she remembered him lying unconscious on the steering wheel before she crawled away to call help. Worrying that he might not have made it, Susan began to cry hysterically making all the machines beep loudly.
"Dear, you need to calm down. Zack is fine, he is in here in fact. Cloe, open the curtain" instructed Dr. Kelp to one of the nurses. When the curtain was pushed back, she saw Zack in a similar condition as her, only unconscious. Moving towards him, she was stopped by the number of tubes attached to her body. Resigning herself to the situation, she turned towards the doctor for more information.
"What happened to him? Is he ok?"
"He just hit his head pretty bad, he woke up a little but mostly been sleeping. There is nothing to worry about. Can you tell me your name?" questioned the doctor.
"My name is Susan" she replied feeling relieved that Zack was ok. "When do we get discharged?"
"When you both are feeling better and can walk properly. Maybe in 2 days" answered the Dr. "Also, is there someone that we should notify?"
"No, we will be ok. I don't want others worrying" replied Susan.
"Ok, dear. I will leave you, while Chloe will take your blood pressure and get you some food. I am sure you must be starving." Hearing about food caused her stomach to growl loudly. Wishing for some hot food, Susan turned to Chloe, who called down to the cafeteria to order her some chicken noodle soup with some yogurt and fruits.
Susan waited patiently as the nurses finished working on her before turning to Zack to perform the same actions of care. Pretty soon, Susan was assaulted by some yummy smelling food as a young man walked in with a tray. Most likely her lunch that she couldn't wait to devour. She truly had been starving. Drinking another cup of water and using the bathroom, with some help, she sat down to attack her food. Finishing her soup and fruits, she laid down to take a nap, losing consciousness pretty quickly.
