Ch 7

1245 Words
The next morning Susan woke up to a loud banging. Glancing at the clock she grimaced. It was close to 6:40, cursing at herself she opened the door for Zack.  “I was worried, you haven’t been picking up my calls for the past half an hour,” Zack questioned.  Susan smiled sheepishly while picking up her phone. There were indeed 10 missed calls. She grimaced, deciding not to waste any more time as she got ready.  “Should have guessed you would be asleep. I tend to forget not everyone is a morning person,” Zack talked while Susan ran around the house making coffee while brushing her teeth.  While the coffee brewed, she took a quick shower only to remember she didn’t bring her clothes with her to the bathroom. Susan remembered keeping them in her closet, with just a towel on she walked out of the bathroom only to be greeted by Zack. He had his back towards her while he bent to pick up her traveling pack, affording her a view of his sexy ass. While she was secretly admiring him, he turned around, only to stop in his tracks.  “Wow, if this is the view every morning, maybe I need to come here every day to wake you up” Zack smirked, making her blush.  “I just forgot my clothes in a rush. If you don’t mind, I would like the room back?” Susan spoke, trying not to sound breathless.  “I do mind actually, the view is not that great in the other room. I prefer this.” Zaid said while slowly walking towards her. He removed a strand of her hair from her neck, making her shiver despite her previous bravado. “See, even you want me here.” Zack took a hold of her waist, bridging the gap between their bodies. Susan clutched his shirt, torn between pushing him away or holding him close. He inched closer to her lips, moist and glistening from the shower, to brush his fingers lightly.  “I want to kiss you so badly but you have to say yes first,” Zack said while staring into her eyes.  Without waiting for even a second, Susan linked her hands behind his neck to smash his lips to hers. They both groaned at the contact, kissing each other like it was the only thing keeping them alive. He took hold of her face in his palms to get a deeper angle. By the end they separated, they were both breathless. “I should leave before we end up staying here all day. To be honest, I would rather stay here than go anywhere else, but I did promise you a trip” Zack whispered, both reluctant to move away. “Just give me 15 minutes, I will be ready to go” Susan claimed as she removed her grip from his t-shirt. She pushed him out the door and got ready in blue shorts and a white tank top. She paired the look with a light shade of matte lipstick and a silver bracelet. Feeling satisfied, she unlocked the door, to be welcomed by Zack holding a steaming cup of coffee.  “Figured you might need this before leaving the house” Zack handed her the coffee and some sugar.  “Almost done, why don’t you load up the car and I will be down in a jiffy,” Susan said while trying to make sure she had everything while drinking her coffee. Finishing her coffee, she chose a pair of grey converse and a black leather jacket from her hallway closet. Picking up her keys and her phone, she took a look around the living room. Finding nothing to be amiss, she locked her front door, walking out to Zack’s car. He had the music turned on when she climbed into the passenger seat.  “Since it’s already 8 and the game is at 12, we have to move fast if we want to enjoy some pre-game tailgating. I have some friends here who enjoy football, maybe a little too much” Zack said, making her feel guilty for being late.  “Sorry about that, I just couldn’t sleep last night, used to being at the club till 4 am. I usually sleep in the morning,” she explained herself.  “It’s ok. I get that and I am sorry for making you feel guilty.” Zack smiled.  They drove through the town, taking an exit to merge onto I-70E towards Columbus. Susan checked google maps to note the drive time close to an hour and 10 mins excluding finding parking. With some rhythmic music playing in the background, Susan fell asleep. Zack  Zack stole a glance at Susan to find her nodding off, looking very adorable as she struggled to find a good position. He kept one hand on the wheel and used the other to move a strand of hair from her eyes. She looked so beautiful and angelic that he couldn't believe his luck that she had said yes to coming with him on this road trip. He promised himself that he wouldn’t bore her with his game talk the whole time and so far he was doing good if he said so himself.  Zack arrived at the Horseshoe stadium around 9:30, grimacing at the lack of available parking. He drove around campus for 15 minutes before finding cheap parking at the street opposite the Student Union. It was far away from the stadium but luckily OSU had bus services running. Zack turned towards Susan to find her staring at him. He was surprised to see her awake, he was hoping to not wake her up early. After all, she missed her sleep because of him. Susan was staring at him so intently that he felt drawn to her warm brown eyes. He hadn’t been kidding when he had said he could kiss her all day and night. Her luscious lips were parted silently as if begging him to kiss her again. God only knew how he had restrained himself this morning. He watched her eyes as they closed, giving him a silent invitation to ravish her lips again. He leaned across the console to kiss her lips tenderly but that gentleness soon turned rough as she plunged her tongue into his mouth, dominating him. He was turned on by her show of passion, silently cursing himself for not staying back at her place. The chemistry between them was truly electric.  Although he had approached her on a dare, he couldn’t find it in himself to walk away from her captivating beauty and personality. They broke the kiss as a horn blared signaling the arrival of a campus bus.  “We should catch that. I don’t know when the next one will be coming and the stadium is too far away to walk”, he explained.  They both climbed out of the car and ran to the bus to catch it in the nick of time. Climbing the steps, they stared at all the football fans in their jerseys.  Zack turned to Susan as they stood among the fans in the moving bus. Zack couldn’t have been more happier today. He had everything he needed right here with him.
