THE RUNAWAY

The arrival

A week has passed since I asked John to set up an meeting with Antwon, the shaman. My dreams have became more vivid and realistic. One night when I was dreaming, I woke up and my whole bed was wet. When I was pulled in to the water and took a dive in the abyss and saw the Goddess, Ant claims to be our mate, my bed was filled with the rocks and moss that was in the pool. Another night, I actually got one of my questions answered from the goddess. She said her name was Cassie. When I went to touch her face, I felt the sharp pain in the back of my head once again and blacked out. I always woke up in my bed after I blackout in my dream, and I always feel the pain on the back of my head. What could this mean I kept on asking myself. Just as I was about to speak to Ant to see what he thinks about it, then I get a mind link from John to meet him at my office.

When I get inside my office John has this silly, happy expression on his face. I ask him what is going on and he tells me that our new beta will arrive in 3 months. John's mate is pregnant. I congratulated my friend and I ask him why he asked me to meet with him. "The shaman has agreed to meet with you and he says he will be here in 3 days." "Thank you buddy I knew I could count on you", I said while I gave him a bear hug. "So are you seriously gonna make me wait until 3 days for you to tell me what is going on?" He asked. I mind linked Ralph to join us. Once Ralph came, I told them a about my dreams and the fact that Ant called her mate. I told them how every time I get into the pool I wake up and my bed and clothes are wet like I literally went for a swim and jumped into my bed without changing out of the wet clothes. I told them every time I feel like someone has hit me on the back of my head and I would black out, just to wake up and feel the same sharp pain in the same place.They both looked at me as though I grew two heads. "I know this sounds crazy, and I would not pursue this. I am going along with the shaman to see of there is any truth to this dream or is it really even at dream at all. The shaman is the closest person I can talk to who knows about the spirit world and supernatural realms. If any of this is true I need to go find my mate, your Luna and bring her home", I say to them both.

As the days go by I stick to my daily routine, wake up train with my warriors,check on my businesses, come back to the pack house, and make sure things are going well here, hang out with my beta and delta, workout, shower and go to bed. My dreams have not progressed further than me finding the pathway, discovering the supernatural creatures, seeing Cassie dive into the pool, me being pulled in to it by her, she tells me her name, and I get hit in the back of the head and blackout. On the final night before the shaman arrives my dream had went further. After Cassie tells me her name, she allows me to touch her. I caress her check in my hand and my whole body is tingling letting me know that she is my mate. Why do I not smell her scent? why is this just a dream? I ask myself. for the first time I hear her voice but her mouth isn't moving. SHE MIND LINKED ME????!!! She laughs at me and says, "No silly I can hear others thoughts. Why do your wolf keeps calling me mate?" I blush when she asks me this. I respond, " Honestly I have no idea but our wolves knows a lot more than we do. So if he says you are my mate then you must be." Why she can not feel the mate bond yet Ant asks. Before I say a word I hear her voice in my head again without her lips moving. "Why did you say our wolves?? I do not have one in this realm. I can not remember how I got here or even how long I have been here for that matter, but I have not been in connection with her in a long time." " What is her name?" " Her name is Denise. Come and see me on the next moon. Not a day before or day after. It is nice to finally talk to you Ant, until we meet again." I was just about to ask a million questions until a familiar feeling came across the back of my head and I wake up in my soaked bed once more.

I made sure that transportation was arranged for the shaman. I went on about my day, but instead of visiting the clubs, I head back to my pack to welcome Antwon's arrival. He stood as tall as me(6'7"), my beta(6'5"), and my delta (6'3"), he stood at 6' even. John, Ralph, and I are always working out so we are very ripped, as far as Antwon, he just have a strong body. It is built but not as ripped as ours. I pride myself in the intense work out I allow my whole pack to be part of. We are the largest and strongest pack of 5 that surrounds Georgia. I personally walk Antwon around showing him the pack house and the packs community. After the tour, we break off to get some rest, flying a personal jet for 3 hours can do some serious jetlag to a person.

I am excited but nervous at the same time. It is 4:30 am as I lay in my bed. I could hardly sleep at all. I keep on thinking about what Cassie said about coming to see her on the next moon. How is that possible the next moon is in two weeks. I have only been having dreams about this realm. There is no way any of this is real at all. My meeting with Antwon is at 10 a.m. after breakfast. I get up and shower and head to breakfast around 8 in the morning. I ran into my beta, John. " Damn man you look like Sugar Honey Ice Tea", he says trying to keep his vocabulary PG-13 for the cubs that are running about and eating breakfast themselves. I laugh and tell him I been up all night wondering about this realm, Cassie, and the full moon. "Full moon, what does the full moon has to do with anything? ", he asked me. I told him to wait until the meeting and I will update everyone at the same time. I sit down in my chair at the head of the table and the kitchen omegas brings me 4 plates of food and fruit a pitcher of OJ and jerky snacks for later on.

I mind link John and Ralph. I tell them to meet me in my office and bring Antwon along. Once they came in I greeted all of then and asked them to sit. My office is the size of a one bedroom apartment. I have a lounge just behind my desk. I ask the gentleman to join me in the lounge. Once everyone is settled in, I begin my dream from the first night up until now. Once I am done with giving all the information, Antwon gets up and walks in circles scratching his head mumbling to himself. He finally stops turns to me and says, " Young Alpha this is a warning and a blessing from the Moon Goddess."
