CHAPTER 11 THE BRITISH LIBRARY AND NEW SCOTLAND YARD, LONDON The beautiful, sunny morning inspired Melanie, and she was determined to take the time to admire her surroundings on her second visit to the British Library. With this in mind, she strode into the piazza with its two-tone pavement designed in squares. From there, she surveyed the building’s red bricks on the outside, which blended in seamlessly with the neighbouring St Pancras Station and the Renaissance Hotel.
