"That what's-her-name Zeni, she's quite old, isn't she, I think I've seen her before."

It wasn't long after Angus said this that Zeni announced her marriage.

That day, Angus came home late, and I was already asleep when he woke me up again. The bedside lamp was on, and his face was brightly lit with a very eerie look on it.

I was so choked up by him that I stopped talking nonsense, and when I woke up again it was almost noon. By the time I finished washing up and went downstairs, Angus was already sitting on the couch downstairs reading the newspaper. When he saw me, he looked at his watch and said, "It's late, get changed and then we're off."

I had been most annoyed by attending wedding banquets, the procedures were tedious and time-consuming, so I asked again, "Do we really have to go? Is it possible not to go? Didn't you say before that she wouldn't let you enjoy her face? How come you've changed your mind by this point?"

How am I supposed to watch a good show when you're going to be on the prowl at the start of the day after all the good intentions of bringing you here to see an old flame?"

"You madman!" I cursed. His voice chilled as well, "Am I crazy or is Leonard crazy? How shameless does a man have to be to marry a woman like Zeni! Don't you know what kind of person she is? Speaking of which, Leonard still has some skills, to be able to coax that old woman into willing to marry him."

"That's not true! I don't believe it!" I looked at Angus with wide eyes. He stopped looking at me and just violently pulled my hand forward.
