" What do you mean? I'm not ready to go steel. I am not." she said.
"Violet, you need to understand that you are not going to be safe in my place. I put everything you need in your bag. And I've made provisions for everything. Okay?"
He ordered the driver to give her a new phone.
I would call you. Steel said. The other driver knocked on the door of the house and Violet could hear Mara coming forward to open the door. Violet knew that there was no turning back. So she had to get down from the car.
She didn't know How to act because she hadn't prepared her mind for this. Of course she wanted to come ome home but she was not prepared yet. Violet looked like she had just been dumped.
