The underground facility shook again. A violent tremor ripped through the nursery. Dust exploded from the ceiling. Ancient light fixtures swung wildly overhead. Metal shelves rattled. Glass shattered somewhere in the darkness beyond the room. And through it all— Gabriel's words hung in the air. "Those aren't Adam's memories."
