Chapter 22: Vincent's Requiem
Amidst the darkness that lurks around the castle, loud cries can be heard in one of its chambers. Voices of wailing children surrounding its four corners. One of the maids rushed outside, heading towards the figure who's been walking left and right. "Your majesty!" The maidservant panted, "Twins... You've been blessed with twins!" Upon hearing the good news, the king immediately headed straight to the room where he was greeted by three other maidservants. "Your majesty!" They bowed and presented the two babies. "They're healthy boys..." Said the woman lying on the bed. Tears welled up the king's eyes as he gazed at the two babies. Then, he planted a soft kiss on the forehead of the woman. "Well done, my love." Seeing this, Rae felt like it was a perfect portrait of a happy family.
