“I say we leave him to starve,” Oliver grumbled as he stood beside Max in the queue. The man in front of them turned to look behind him at the group when he heard Oliver, but when the short man glared at him, he cleared his throat, adjusting his blazer's lapels and turned back around. Max had dragged him along to wait in the queue while he got food for Matt. They all had already eaten in the cafe where Lyric worked part-time, and Oliver would agree that was fair enough. The food was terrific, and the cafe was funky, too—with muted blue walls and white furniture.
