After the short rest, Brynn and her son continued with their journey, it was little long and boring with Ethan looking Sharp through the window as if he was marking the routes.

After a while, they came to large iron gate.

Brynn was once again at home. Not the nineteen year old girl who left crying, now, she was a twenty four old strong determined lady with a little soldier besides her.

The gate cracked open and they stepped inside, Mei helped them to put their bags in the guest room. the sitting room seemed to be quiet for a minute and then Eva came down. She paused a half on her way and then came to meet her with a big hug...

" Ethan, this is your grandma." Brynn tried to sound casual.

" Hello grandma." he greeted.

Brynn lifted her eyes and saw Johnson up.

he came down slowly eyes locked on her as of she wasn't his daughter.

"Brynn, the main reason that has brought you back here is to help me run the companies, your grandpa is ill." he didn't even bother to greet her, it wasn't his business.

"Okay Dad, I will try my level best.."

she said and turned to her mom.

" mom, we need some rest, the journey has been long." she excused herself and helped Ethan to go up stairs.

Mei helped her in organising the two rooms till they looked alive again..

they both took showers in different bathrooms.

After, Brynn dressed up in her blue night robe, help Ethan with his pajamas. and then went to meet her Grandpa in his room.

she took a deep breath and then knocked at the door.

" Come in." the old tired voice called her in. she did. Leonardo was lying on the bed, blanket up on his chin.

" You came back but help me with one thing, never do the mistake you did give years back." he warned even though he was ill.

" I promise grandpa."

they stayed like that for half hour before Eva called her for supper.

After everything, Brynn put the angry bot into bed and switched off the lights before closing the door behind her.

she quietly went out at the balcony. she was finally back in her home country but with an aim this time, with new strong look. she stayed out for a while and then went to her room. Checking her phone, their was a message from Lisa. a good night wish with a moon emoji.

she smiled a little but didn't reply and drifted to sleep.....
