She snuck a glance at Elizah who was riding in the front. His mighty shoulders and broad back were giving her weird feelings down below. He was a large man, much larger than Sabrina. Muscular and strong. It excited Sabrina, a lot. The only turn-off was his involvement with another woman. She still hadn't forgotten that. A sharp pang was felt in her heart whenever she recollected those heart-wrenching moments. Jealousy fired up in her, burning her heart. She would make sure he burn in the same flame. Her time was running. Sabrina matched her horse's pace to Booth's. Booth was just behind Elizah. His delicious scent engulfed her as she approached them. She stopped when she was next to Booth. She turned and flashed him a dazzling smile. "How long till we get there, Booth?" she queried to initiate a conversation. From the corner of her eyes, she noticed how Elizah turned rigid. " Four more days, my lady," the boy replied with a smile. "The ride has started to tire you?" Booth asked her with amusement dancing in his eyes. "No, not at all. I like adventures," she lied and lifted her chin, faking confidence. "What other things you like, my lady?" Booth asked with a smirk, looking interested to know. "Umm...I like reading books, painting, and gardening," Sabrina answered in an even tone. "Lucky for you, we have a large library in our capital. You can spend a lifetime there and still won't be able to read all the books," Booth revealed to her. "That sounds great," Sabrina replied with a small smile but inwardly dreading the moment when they will get there. She didn't want to mate with someone who wasn't her mate. "Your hair turns gold under the sun......It looks beautiful," she told him genuinely with a smile. Booth blushed at her unexpected compliment. "Thank you, my lady," The loud noise of horse neighing interrupted their conversation. They looked ahead and realised it was Elijah's horse that was neighing in pain. Did he kick her that hard? She couldn't see his whole face as he was ahead of them but the constant ticking in his jaw made her realize that he didn't take well to her compliment. Not a moment later, Elijah pulled the reign and rode further ahead, taking away his intoxicating scent with him. Sabrina felt a tinge of disappointment. They were riding in complete silence. The sunlight was filtering in through the large leaves up above. Everyone wanted to reach the capital as soon as possible except for Sabrina. She didn't want this journey to ever end, at least, not before he realizes the truth. They rode for hours. A few stars were blinking in the orange-streaked sky, alluding towards the darkness that was going to engulf them very soon. The sun was about to set into oblivion. Sabrina noticed everything with curious eyes when she raised they had reached a tribal area. The small naked kids were playing and squealed in excitement when they saw them. Their eyes marvelling their horses. Rina's face tinted red when her eyes fell on a man passing by who was wearing little to nothing. His taut muscles were out on the display whereas a piece of cloth was dangling below, on the front, covering his manhood. Sabrina, accidentally, got a peek of his meat. Burning with shame, she instantly averted her gaze. The man seemed blissfully comfortable in his attire or should one say lack of attire. They rode further in and saw more people. The women's clothing was a tad bit decent than the men's but no less provocative. They had only their private parts covered with clothes. A boy in his teens, scrammed off to tell their chief about their arrival when he spotted them. Not even a minute later, a man in his mid-30s appeared. His attire was the same as others but his graceful disposition made him stand out from the crowd. He was accompanied by a beautiful woman. They both had similar tattoos on their upper chest. She must be his wife, Sabrina thought. The couple was being followed by a group of men and women. They both halted in front of Elijah's horse and bowed to him. "Rise," Elijah signaled them to lift their head. "The Greystone pack is overjoyed to have you among us, your grace," the man intoned in a deep voice. Elijah gave him a nod. "I and my companion will be staying here for the night," Elijah informed, Heather, the chief of the tribe. Heather's calculative gaze swept over the group but lingered on Sabrina for a second longer. He pulled his gaze off her after scrutinizing her. "Very well. I will try my best to make your stay a pleasurable experience," Heather said to Elijah. "Vaugh, Yolk the horses," Heather looked over his shoulder and issued a command. Not a moment later, a lanky man came out of the group to cater the horses. Elijah and others dismounted the horses for Vaugh to take them. "Pleasure to see you, my princess," Heather and others bowed to Sabrina. Pleasure is all mine," Sabrina replied with a small smile. Heather gave her a nod. "Kyra," he turned to his wife. The wife nodded and forwarded a step towards the princess. "Come with me, Princess," the woman said. Sabrina, uncertain, glanced at Elijah who was already looking at her. He gave her a nod of approval. Sabrina turned to Kyra and flashed her a smile of agreement.
