chapter 3 the past comes back

Aisha's world was turned upside down. She had given birth to a child she had never met, and the father was the billionaire she was working for. She felt like she was living in a nightmare. How could this be happening?

She took a deep breath and tried to compose herself. She couldn't let Ethan see her like this. She had to keep her cool, for the sake of the party and for the sake of her business.

But the questions swirled in her mind. Why had Ethan kept Sophie's existence a secret? Did he know about Aisha's past? And what about the surrogacy?

Aisha's thoughts were interrupted by Ethan's voice, "Aisha, I need to talk to you about the party decorations. The caterer is on the phone, and they need our final numbers."

Aisha forced herself to focus, pushing her emotions aside. "I'll take care of it, Ethan. Don't worry."

As she handled the caterer, Aisha couldn't help but wonder what other secrets Ethan was hiding. She was determined to find out.

Later that evening, Aisha received a package at her hotel room. Inside, she found a note that read: "Meet me at the Aspen Observatory at midnight. -E"

Aisha's heart skipped a beat. Who was the mysterious sender? And what did they want?

She looked out the window, the snow-covered mountains glining in the moonlight. She knew she had to go. She had to know the truth.

At midnight, Aisha made her way to the observatory. The snow crunched beneath her boots as she walked. She pushed open the door, and a figure turn around

it was Ethan

"Aisha I know you are surprise to see me"

Ethan said his eyes locked on hers

"but I had to talk to you it about Sophie,"

Aisha heart was racing what was Ethan going to talk about?

"Sophie is ...my daughter ” Aisha said the word tumbling out

Ethan's expression was unreadable

"How did you know "

"I received the Dnd test results I know I'm her biological mother, "

Ethan's eyes narrowed "you are the one who has been sending me anonymous message, ain't you ?"

Aisha, shook her head"no I swear it wasn't me .but I do want to know the truth why did you keep Sophie existence a secret? "

Ethan's expression soften "the did it to protect you and to protect her "

Aisha's eyes widened "what do you mean ?"

Ethan took a step closer "I'll tell you everything, Aisha but first I need to know do you want to be in Sophie life ?"

Aisha heart skipped a beat, she had never thought she will be a mother not like this , but now she couldn't imagine not being part of Sophie's life .

"yes"she said, her voice barely above whisper

Ethan's eyes locked into her for a moment Aisha forgot to breath
