His father's concerned eyes were fixed on him, and Ethan knew he couldn't hide it any longer. 'No, Dad, I'm fine,' Ethan replied, trying to sound convincing. 'Just a little nervous, that's all.' But his father's gaze lingered, and Ethan knew he didn't believe him. your hand is shaking like a leaf. What's going on, son?' Ethan sighed, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside him. He didn't know how to explain what was happening - the strange visions, the ghostly encounters, the feeling of being haunted by something he couldn't understand. 'Dad, I...I don't know,' Ethan admitted, feeling a sense of defeat. 'Something's just off, okay? And I don't know how to make it right. "Ethan's father nodded, his expression understanding. 'Okay, son. Let's get you checked out. Maybe the doctors can figure out what's going on.' Ethan nodded, feeling a mix of relief and worry. He didn't know what was happening to him, but he knew it wasn't good. As they arrived at the hospital, Ethan's heart raced with anticipation. What would the doctors find? Would they be able to help him? The nurse led them to a quiet room, and Ethan sat down on the examination table, his father by his side. The doctor came in, a kind-faced woman with a warm smile. 'So, Ethan, what's been going on?' she asked, her eyes scanning his face. Ethan took a deep breath and told her everything - the shaking hands, the visions, the feeling of being haunted. The doctor listened attentively, her expression growing more serious with each passing moment. When he finished, she nodded thoughtfully. 'I think we might need to run some tests,' she said. 'But I think I know what might be going on.'" "Ethan's mom, who had been quietly observing the exchange, spoke up, her voice laced with concern. 'What do you mean, doctor? What could be causing all of this?' The doctor turned to her, her expression sympathetic. 'I think Ethan might be experiencing some symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. Ethan's mom looked at him, her eyes filled with worry. 'Oh, Ethan, I had no idea. You've been carrying this burden all alone, haven't you?' Ethan nodded, feeling a lump form in his throat. He hadn't realized how much his mom cared, how much she wanted to help. The doctor continued, 'We'll need to run some tests to confirm, but in the meantime, I want to prescribe some medication to help manage the symptoms. And I think it would be a good idea for Ethan to see a therapist, to work through his feelings and emotions.' Ethan's mom nodded, her face set in determination. 'We'll do whatever it takes to help you, Ethan. You're not alone in this.'" "As soon as they walked through the front door, Ethan's mom enveloped him in a warm hug. 'I'm so sorry, Ethan,' she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. 'I had no idea you were struggling so much. I'm here for you, always.' Ethan felt a lump form in his throat as he hugged her back, feeling a sense of comfort and security he hadn't felt in weeks. He knew his mom would do anything to help him, and that knowledge gave him the strength to keep going. As they hugged, Ethan felt a weight lift off his shoulders. He knew he still had a long road ahead of him, but with his mom by his side, he felt like he could face anything. 'I love you, Mom,' he whispered, his voice muffled in her shoulder. 'I love you too, sweetie,' she replied, her voice filled with warmth. 'We'll get through this together.'" "Ethan's eyes widened in surprise as his dad suggested, 'Maybe you should get married.' His mom's eyes snapped towards his dad, a look of disbelief on her face. 'What? Why would you say that?' Ethan's dad shrugged. 'Well, Ethan's been through a lot lately, and marriage can be a great source of stability and support. Plus, he's been spending a lot of time with Tina Ethan's face flushed as his mom turned to him, her eyes filled with a mix of surprise and amusement. 'Ethan, are you...?' Ethan shook his head, feeling his face grow even hotter. 'No, Mom, it's not like that. Tina and I are just friends.' "Ethan's dad raised an eyebrow. 'I thought you were spending time with Tina Ethan's face grew even redder as he corrected himself. . We're just dating, Dad. It's nothing serious.' His mom intervened, placing a hand on his dad's arm. 'Let's not pressure him, dear. Ethan will know when he's ready to settle down.' Ethan's dad nodded, but his eyes still sparkled with curiosity. 'Alright, alright. I just want what's best for you, son.' "Ethan excused himself, feeling exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster of the day. He trudged up the stairs, his legs heavy with fatigue. As he collapsed onto his bed, he couldn't help but think about the events of the day. His mind was a jumble of thoughts.
