Chapter Nineteen Heads turned to stare as Matilda was escorted down a gap between the tents. She tried not to panic, fear making her heart flutter like little wings attempting to burst from her chest. It wasn’t comfortable. She didn’t like it. Of course, she didn’t like anything else about the current situation either. Being marched under sword point into a camp full of soldiers who worship a dragon you have only heard of in horror stories wasn’t anyone’s idea of fun. To make it worse, she suspected the person she’d trusted, Elora, had led her there to get caught. That was the way it appeared. Elora had disappeared right when Matilda had needed her most. It didn’t make Matilda think happy thoughts. Although there was one possible bonus, these people had probably taken her parents too.
