Upon waking, Callie couldn't see a thing. The room had gone completely dark. Her head hurt like it had been beaten against a wall. Mustering her strength together, she staggered trying to stand up only to find the floor although solid was somewhat springy like a gymnast floor. She tried to make her way to a wall in hopes of finding the door back out. Feeling her way in what seemed to be several complete circles with no luck finding the door or a way out of any kind. Just a never ending scratchy surface. Lacking in energy after her exploration, Callie sits down to rest and come up with a new plan. That's when she hears it. Large booming sounds that she couldn't quite place. Then out of nowhere she was thrown across the floor like she was in a car accident without wearing a seat belt. It couldn't be possible, but it felt like the whole room was moving.

On his way back to the barracks from work, Chris stopped by the post office to collect his mail. Their was a strange package there for him with no return address. Thinking is was probably nothing more than bulk mail sent to random military men to cheer them up, he tossed it onto his bed to go in search of a knife to open it.

Callie feels the movement of the room come to an abrupt halt. Before she could bounce back, she had to cover her ears from the loud noise overhead. The room suddenly flooded with a bright light. After a few moments of blinking, her eyes started to adjust enough to see again. Looking up at what was suppose to be the ceiling, all she could see were two huge blue eyes staring at her. It was too much to handle. Callie let out a scream of terror. She screamed until her voice gave out. crouching in a corner she tried to shield herself from the penetrating gaze.

Chris couldn't believe his eyes. In the box was a girl. A tiny girl, no bigger than five or six inches. He could see she was terrified, but who wouldn't be? He must seem like a giant ogre to her. realizing he couldn't just keep staring at her, he need to try to calm her. Chris gingerly tipped the box over so that she was now sitting curled up in a ball on his bed beside him. "It's okay, i'm not going to hurt you." He said in his most soothing voice. Still getting no reaction, he continued. "What happened to you? How did you get so small? what is your name little one?"

Callie wiped furiously at her tears, feeling rage start to form in her small frame. Peeking up at the man above her through her fingers, she could do little more than shake with fear. It was taking everything she had to not stay curled up in a ball crying her eyes out. If their was a way to get out of this nightmare, he might be her only hope, Callie said to herself. Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, she finally spoke to the giant. "My name is Callie. Who are you and why am I here?"

Chris was taken back by Callie's boldness. Did she really think he had anything to do with her current predicament? "My name is Chris, I don't know why are here, I just opened the package over there, and you there you were." He said gesturing to the box still sitting further down on the bed spread. "their was no return address on it, so I just assumed it was either junk mail or mass packaging from a support the troops group." He said, sheepishly scratching his head. "I'm sorry for not being more gentle, I had no idea you would be inside... You look a bit shaken up...."

Callie winced at his words, knowing them to be true. For the first time, she took a better look at herself and couldn't help but blush. She finally had the undivided attention of a guy and all he sees is a disheveled girl. As she further inspecting her state of dress, she sees that one of her heels is broken so she attempts to remove the offending garment, just to jerk back from pain/ He ankle appeared to be twisted do to it's slight swelling. Her own gaze traveling up, she noted a few minor scrapes and some bruising. Unfortunately her dress was also in shreds, giving much more view of her upper thighs. Feeling quite embarrassed. Callie attempted to tuck the scraps of dress around her, concealing as much of her skin as possible. Feeling heat rise to her cheeks as her gaze traveled back to Chris's face, knowing he was observing everything she did. After a moment she gathered her composure and attempted to stand up on the bouncy surface that was Chris's bed. Callie struggled to balance on her one good foot, attempting to keep the weight off of her hurt foot. She stumbled and ended up bracing herself against Chis;s wall size of a thigh.

Chris observed Callie's struggles and noted her hurt ankle. Silently wondering if it was he who injured her or if it had been hurt previously. Taking in her small frame in what must seem to be a giant world to her. Chris couldn't help but notice that rightly proportioned, Callie would have ample breasts and some pleasant curvy hips to hold on to. He shook his head in disbelief. She's so small, you can't let your mind wander like that. He mentally scolded himself. Noticing how young she looked, he had to ask. "How old are you Callie?'
