Zoya’s P.O.V
I woke up groggily, feeling almost completely unaware of my surroundings.
As I looked at the window in my bedroom, it was to find that the sun was up and the birds were chirping around merrily right outside, their sweet songs making a small smile appear on my lips.
The last thing I remembered was being in Ezra’s arms and feeling so content and happy. Sometime later in the evening, I must have fallen asleep, surrounded by his warm embrace. I didn’t even notice when it happened, all I knew was that I no longer felt so alone, so hopeless.
I remember dreaming about werewolves and other supernatural creatures. It was all a haze, from one scene to the next. I saw myself standing in the middle of a crowded street, but instead of people, they were all supernatural creatures.
