I found myself standing at a crossroad, unsure of which path to take — Anika had offered me her support and her pack to fight against my brother, the one who had forced me to leave my own pack, but at a cost.
She promised me a chance to reclaim my position as Alpha. But the catch was that she was to become my Luna.
I wasn't quite sure about that.
My thoughts immediately went to Zoya. How would she feel, I wondered, if she heard the offer that Anika had made?
Would she be angry? Sad? Both? Or would she keep her feelings to herself again and stay quiet so that others wouldn’t be bothered?
