Chapter two ~

Theo P.O.V.

"So, after doing the test, it does turn out that you are a dom of a little. And you have a match with two littles, but they both have a long history of getting in fights. Sorry, but you could only take one home today." Dr.Elijah says.

They made me do a test as soon I got in the door, and from the looks of it, I'm getting a little girl. I can do this, and don't scare the girls.

"That is alright. I don't think I can handle both girls."

"Alright, I wanted to tell you that after you choose the one you feel more comfortable with, that we have to get them a shot."

Nodding my head, I look down at one of those Pan flips they had in this room. Telling new Daddy's or Mommy's, what you should buy and some tips on dealing with each other. I hope that my baby girl isn't that scared of me and the needle that will come after getting all the papers signed.

" Alright, I will let the first one come in to meet you."

Rubbing my hands together, and I keep looking in at the door then the clock. I should have asked Owen to sit with me. I feel like I'm going to say the wrong thing. Just act calm and be yourself, don't get too quickly angry with them and smile.

One thing to remember is that not all little's are like my ex-Fiancé. Just be yourself and see how this goes.

The door opens, coming in is a man and a little girl with blond hair girl with blue eyes go into the room. I give a smile to her, and she smiles back.

"Hello Theo, this is Sophia." Dr.Elijah says with a smile.

He was leading her into the room. From just looking at her, you can tell she is a confident and strong will. But let's see what her mind thought are, to see what she is really.

One thing about vampires is we can read the minds of others. Sometimes I am using it when I'm at work trying to get a deal with our clients. Vampires have the wealthiest people in the whole world.

'Oh, another person.. will he be able to buy me a giant dollhouse? Just think how they would want it too! Then I can rub it into Sage's face that I got a daddy and not her.'

Already I want to turn her away. Someone like her can go out of hand and be full of Jealousy quickly. She would be like that woman I left.

"This is Sophia. Her age is around three years old. She is an outgoing person and loved playing with everyone." Dr. Elijah says when he hands me over her paperwork.

Looking down at the paper, she got into a fight with a couple of people in the past. She doesn't get along with any of the pets when they did a combining class. To top everything off, she is the leader in her friend group. It's her way or no way from the looks of it.

Did this place not do punishments on this girl? I know they don't want to hurt them, but still, they have to make them understand to keep in line. I don't want to keep punishment her if she doesn't understand what she does is wrong.

"Hello, Sophia. What makes you smile the most?"

"Umm... being with my friends and playing with them," Sophia says, rubbing her hands together and smiles at me.

I am taking a deep breath, looking inside her brain. ' I love my friends, but I like when no one plays with Sage. That's what she gets from taking from me.'

Hhmm, if I wasn't reading her mind, I could believe her. There is something about her that I don't trust. I ask a couple of questions, and they took her and leave.

Dr. Elijah looks at me as soon the door close, and they were far away from the door. "So, you don't like this one, do you?"

"No, not after reading her profile and her mind. I don't particularly appreciate being known as the bad guy. What do you mean 'protect a baby'? Mean for Sophia?"

"Meaning, Sophia can fit the bill of putting on little. She may need punishments every day or so, but she only does it to get attention. You have to remember that they have to share four different caregivers. All they think about is getting a forever home."

"I understand that, but I don't need a little that 'fit the bill' for me. I'm alright knowing they are nice and kind to me."

Dr.Elijah nods his head and smiles at me. "Here, I thought you like having a Challenge kind of guy."

"Nah, I'm for of the lay back and watch what happens."

He laughs and pulls out another paper, hands me the piece. Looking at it, I'm getting excited to meet this next little.

Name: Sage

Age: 18 years old

little age: 2-3 years old

BIO: Sage is shy and sometimes will ask to leave when many people are in the room. Need to have a Pacifier on hand or Attached to her clothes. She likes biting on her lips or clothes—unknown reason.

Sage still needs to learn to make friends other than the caregivers.

Sage favourite things are strawberries and nap time.

For some reason, I want to get to know her. Sage. Even my demon inside me feels something about her. But what does this mean?

"How is she, Dr.Elijah?"

"From the times I had to see her for shots and checkups, she is pretty... interesting. It's like you a drawn to her when she starts talking. I was thinking of Adopting her if no one wanted her"

He was nodding to him. I left like that was a Threat, even though he didn't mean that way. Maybe she is one to bring me out of this darkness.

"She's coming, Theo. She just woke up from her nap, and she as to eat a little bit. She might be here soon."

There was a knock on the door, the door open and there stand a 4'10 girl with black hair and brown skin. Her eyes were brown like chocolate. The man pushes her inside the room, and she looks at me before looking down at her feet.

They were not lying, saying she was shy. I never thought this tiny human would make me feel so protective of her. Dr.Elijah calls her over and stands in front of me.

"Hello, Sage, my name is Theo."

She looks up and whispers, "hi."

I hope she is better than other little Sophia and not an eater of money or wanting to put people down. Already just listening to her worlds are so sweet. We would need to work on her conference.

'I need panda! He's the only one to help me calm down! He should be here sooooon... I need Miss Q to hurry!!'

It looks like someone needs a buddy, too. Well, she did get up from her nap. The people must have been in a hurry to get her ready.

"Hey Sage, do you want to tell Theo about your panda? I think he would love to know more about him."

I nod my head and smile at her. She Climbs the chair next to me and looks up at me. Us vampires are almost 6'9, so everything was built taller for us, and to them, it's like they were tiny kids to us.

"Umm.. my panda is my best friend.. he sleeps with me to keep me safe from the nightmares ..." she says, pulling on her figures with her hands.

"Is that so? How long has panda been your best friend?"

"Forever! He never leaves me side!"

"Then can I see him right now? I would love to meet him."

She looks down, swinging her legs back and forth fast. "I-i panda still in."

There was a knock on the door. It opens to a woman with a panda bear in her hand. Sage smiles and turns her body in the chair to get down. It looks so cute when she tries to get down from the chair.

She runs down up to the lady and hugs the bear tightly. The bear is to her hips, not that big but big enough for her to hug and cuddle it. The black and white bear, no wounded she called it panda.

She thanks the lady and comes running back to me. She holds him up in the air showing me his face and body. "See! My panda .. my best friend in the whole world, is," she says.

Wow, that would be the first time Sage is saying something clearly. She talks as if she will get hurt if she talks too loud to me. I would never hurt her, and I feel amazing that she can speak loudly.

"Yes, I see, but it looks like panda needs a good wash, yes?"

"Hmm.. but Panda doesn't' like bath time, and I don't want to force him to have one."

Picking her up, placing her on my lap. I look down into her brown eyes and say, "Well, do you think if we get panda more friends that he would feel better about bath time?"

"Hmmm... i -I think he would like that."

Something about her makes me want to give her things I never thought I would do. Not even my ex Fiancé I didn't feel like giving her anything.

But I hope she says yes to what I'm going to ask her.

"Sage"

"Yes? She hugs her bear tightly.

"Do you want me to be your daddy?"
