"Mother, I actually realised that I love him and he's my soulmate. I felt time the first time I saw him." I miserably lied but I knew it was worth it.
"Just yesterday, you didn't want anything to do with him. I don't understand."
"You don't have to understand mother. I love him please understand that."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." I smiled trying to make her believe my lies.
"But ..."
"But nothing mother. Yes I don't like how the king is forcing this situation but I trust his judgement and you were right I've learnt to love Cain."
"If thats what you want my princess then I'm happy!"

Mary's Version
I left Ane's room and goes straight to join the king as he instructed. I found the table well set and meals served. I took a seat.
"Let's say grace, shall we?" the King said.
He drew my hand and we closed my eyes as he was praying. I looked at him with an evil gaze I felt all hair in my body fly, I couldn't wait for him to leg go of my hand as disgusted as I was with him.
"Amen"
Finally he lets got of my hand!
*How was the meeting with the princess?" he asked.
"She'll marry him."
"Oh, really? Are you sure?"
I looked at him "She- will- marry- him!"
"Okay, good!"
"How did you murder them?"
"Excuse me?"
Every word I heard from him was a slit in my heart.
"You heard me." I demanded.
"Trust me you don't wanna know." he assumed but deep down I knew I really didn't wanna know.
"You're right. I've lost my appetite."
I stood up and left.
Anesha's Version
How can father do this to mom, to my own father and to my grandma. Is this the reason why Christian left, did he knew about all this. And if he did why then did he leave me his twin! And mother! I don't think he knew or else he wouldn't have left us in such a situation. He'd be here to support us. Now I have no choice but to marry that murderer for the sake of my and mother's lives. Whew!
Chapter 4
The second date.
Cain Version
This time I did things differently to show remorse for the mess that happened on the last dinner. I wanted assure Anesha that I'm genuinely determined to be with her.
Anesha's Version
Cain was a total romantic no doubt about that whether he goes expensive or cheap he was just a romantic! He was handsome and dressed nice always but there was this pull between us and it was because I was in love with another and on the other hand he was a murderer. The thought of sharing a bed with him was enough torture.
For our second date he took me to his workplace. Roses and candles in his transparent office. It was a normal day, everyone was working, going up and down printing papers, making coffee, holding meetings in the boardrooms and signing contract.
This time he didn't come to pick me up but instead he sent his maids to pick me up to his workplace. As soon as I came out of the lift, everyone stopped everything they were doing and droll at me all the way to his office. I didn't knock as the door was already opened.
I stood at the door for a while, his office was like a roses shop. There were red roses everywhere and red candles. He set up a picnic table on the floor everything was beautiful, and then there was him, totally breathtaking!
He was simple, a white shirt and with black trouser. His shirt was a three button unbuttoned, his left hand was on the pocket while he's other held a glass of red wine. His lips were parted from in each as soon as he saw me. With his bedroom eyes he traditionally seduced me.
Cain's Version
She was something else, although she did not wear the dress I sent her for our second date she still looked seductive in a long black dress, with a frontal slit up to her thighs. Chest revealing with diamond rocks placed on the cups of bra like covering her breasts with a touch of a blood red lipstick on her pretty lips. I craved her!
I put the glass of the wine on my office table. I walked slowly to her.
