Cathy’s face burned red with anger as she stared at the man.
He was calm and buttoning up his shirt, but Cathy’s fury only grew.
“You p*****t!” she yelled.
“You took advantage of me! I thought you were... Oh, no! I can’t believe I fell for this!”
Dennis sighed and turned to face her.
“Miss, let’s get something straight. You came here willingly, stripped yourself n***d, and offered your body to me. What happened between us was mutual.”
Cathy glared at him, clenching her fists.
“Don’t you dare try to justify what you did. You’re disgusting! A nobody pretending to be someone important!”
Dennis didn’t argue further.
Instead, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a sleek business card, placing it on the nightstand.
“If you ever decide to talk rationally, you can contact me.”
Without another word, he walked out, leaving Cathy fuming.
She picked up the card, glanced at it briefly, then tossed it aside.
She had no intention of ever seeing that man again.
As Cathy was about to leave the room, she noticed the sheet with the room number the hotel staff had given her: room 420.
However, in her drunken state, she had mistakenly knocked on room 320 instead—a completely different room.
This realization only made her angrier with herself.
Later that day, Cathy received a conference call from her friends, who were eagerly awaiting the details of her supposed conquest.
“Did you do it? Who was it? Which one of the N5?!”
Cathy tried to hide her humiliation.
“It was incredible,” she said, keeping her response vague.
Her friends erupted in excitement, bombarding her with questions. But Cathy was ready to quickly hang up.
“I’ll tell you everything later. I’m too tired now.”
Without waiting for their response, she ended the call abruptly.
How could she admit the truth?
That she’d slept with a complete stranger and not one of the N5 Group?
Meanwhile, at the Wright family mansion, Adam Wright, the President of Reliance Conglomerate had summoned his sons to the grand dining hall.
His gaze swept across the room, taking in his sons, each from a different wife, as they gathered.
“I’ve decided it’s time to hand over Reliance Conglomerate,” Adam announced with his deep voice commanding attention.
“It’s the crown jewel of our family, with branches across the entire Nella Country. But it needs strong leadership.”
The room fell silent as Adam’s sons exchanged uneasy glances.
“Dennis,” Adam continued, “you’re my firstborn, and the responsibility should fall to you. But I can only trust you with it if you prove more responsibility—by getting married.”
Dennis’s eyes widened in disbelief.
“Marriage? Dad, you know that’s not part of my plans right now..."
Adam cut him off with a raised hand.
“One month. If you’re not married by then, I’ll hand the conglomerate to one of your brothers.”
After all, three of Dennis's brothers were already married.
After speaking, Adam left the room without waiting for a response.
Dennis sat back in his chair, his mind reeling.
The first and only woman who had caught his attention recently was Cathy.
He had her photo, captured from the hotel’s CCTV footage that night, and he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
Maybe it was time to find out who she really was.

Back in Cathy's family’s dilapidated home, her mother, Tara, was shouting at her.
“All you’ve ever brought into this house are penniless men!” Tara snapped.
“Do you know what we’ve endured all these years? I heard the N5 Group was at that party, and you couldn’t even try to connect with them. Useless!”
Cathy bit her lip, holding back tears.
“I tried, Mom,” she muttered.
“Things just didn’t go as planned.”
“Try harder!” Tara yelled.
“We’re on the verge of losing this house, and you’re our only hope!”
As Tara’s voice rose, the front door opened, and Kevin, Cathy’s older brother, walked in.
Behind him was a rugged-looking man with a scar running down his cheek.
Kevin smirked as he introduced the rugged-looking man.
“This is Liam. He’s part of the Fierce Dogs. They have connections with the bigwigs in Melville, including the N5 Group.”
Cathy’s stomach churned.
The Fierce Dogs were notorious; their name was whispered in fear throughout the city!
“I’ve paid Liam to help Cathy,” Kevin continued.
"He’ll introduce her to one of the bigwigs in Melville—maybe even someone from the N5 Group. This is your chance, Cathy. Don’t mess it up."
