Chapter 10: That can't be real

I didn’t answer Max, I blushed and rushed down the stairs to go get the kids. As I walked down onto the deck I noticed Danny had unpacked Max’s car and he had picked up a crib and a bunch of stuff for the kids. I looked up at him and gave him a big smile.

I woke Jeremy up, he immediately got excited as he saw the water, he jumped out of the car waking everyone else up in the process. He was in awe with everything he saw pointing at everything. Ali woke up and reached for Max, she only wanted him right now I guess, he grabbed her happily. I reached for Angel and she was full of wonder as she starred everywhere around her.

We walked around the yard for a bit, the kids were very excited for the beach and the boats, we told them tomorrow we would take them out. Danny stuck around and helped us unpack, Max and him attempted to put the crib together, it was hilarious to see them. They had so many tools out and they were arguing with each other I couldn’t help but to butt in,

“You guys are both wrong, take the baby ill have this done in 10 minutes.”

I seen them eye me in disbelief, when I had it done in no time, they both looked at me with their jaws dropped. The kids each picked their own rooms besides the one we had already picked, there was one spare room for when people came to visit.

Jeremy and Ali were both trying to unpack their toys and clothing. Jeremy was doing pretty good but little Ali was having a tough time and she refused my help.

Max could hear her telling me no she didn’t want my help she wanted to do it like a big girl then Max sat next to her and somehow convinced her to let him help her, I watched them it was funny even though she wasn’t Max’s child they sure had a special bond them too right from the beginning.

After dinner, Danny had to leave to get back home before he started work tomorrow. I gave him a big hug and thanked him, he made me promise to try and text him at least every second day but preferably once a day. When he said goodbye to the kids I seen him trying to hold back tears as he hugged and gave them each a kiss.

“Uncle loves you guys very much, uncle just needs to go to work for 14 days then he will be coming back to see you guys ok.”

I got the kids each in the bath and into their beds, everything was so new and clean here. Both Jeremy and Ali had gigantic beds they looked so comfortable as they both fell to sleep quickly. I headed downstairs and began to clean up the kitchen, Max came over and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me tightly against him,

“So what do you think? Do you think the kids will be comfortable here?”

I smiled to myself as I pictured each of them in their gigantic bedrooms, their tiny bit of toys weren’t even close to filling their rooms. At our old apartment, they had just enough room for a single bed, dresser and a tiny area to play.

“I think they love it here, I feel like it’s all too much though. Are you sure its okay we are here?”

He turned me around so he was facing me,

“It’s more then okay you’re here, I am happy you are all here I promise. Although I think I’ll need to take you guys all shopping one day their rooms are a bit empty. And I noticed you only have a small bag of stuff.”

I shrugged, “I don’t need much, I worry more about the kids then myself. I don’t need to go shopping, I have everything I need.”

I saw Max roll his eyes, “Can you please just let me spoil you a little bit.”

I shook my head as I turned around to continue the dishes, I felt guilty letting Max buy us all things. I wasn’t here for that and I didn’t want to feel like I owed him anything. He came up next to me and grabbed a dish cloth and began to dry the dishes, this felt so natural to us I couldn’t help but smile.

“Why don’t you go run yourself a bath Bri, I’ll keep an ear out for the kids. Remind me to pick up some baby monitors. I have some work to do for a bit then I’ll meet you in bed, we have a big day tomorrow.”

I nodded and gave him a kiss on the cheek as I went upstairs and began to run the bath, I took all my clothes off as I waited for the water to be just right, it was a large jacuzzi tub and I couldn’t figure out how to plug the damn thing. I was trying all sorts of things to plug it, I got frustrated and shut the water off.

I considered putting my clothes back on but decided to just grab a towel as I headed to Max’s office. I knocked and I heard him sort of laugh,

“Come in Bri, you know you don’t need to ever knock. All I ask if you come in and make sure I’m not on a call or something before saying anything.”

Just then he looked up and noticed I was just in a towel, he’s eyes lit up very large,

“Uhm Hello.”

I laughed and I immediately felt my cheeks turn red,

“This is so stupid, can I borrow you for a second I need some help with something.”

He’s smile got really big,

“This feels like a porno Bri, hot chick comes in, she had only a towel on and is asking for help. Is this where this is going?”

I began to laugh nervously when I realized he was joking with me.

“I can’t figure out the tub.”

He began go laugh and got up to follow me to the bathroom, I didn’t notice there was a fee buttons on the wall, he showed me how to plug and unplug and how turn the jets on and adjust them. This was the fanciest bath tub I’ve ever seen. I looked it all over as I was trying to figure out why they wouldn’t just put a normal plug in it.

“Do you want me to join you? I’ll keep my hands to myself unless you ask me otherwise. We can put lots of bubbles and just relax if you want?”

I thought about it for a moment, as I looked around then I nodded as he gave me a smile and began to start the water. He turned around so I could get in first and he wouldn’t see me. I was on disbelief with how good this felt on my skin, this is definitely what I needed.

I looked over and Max still had his back turned so I told him he could turn around, he turned as he smiled at me, he didn’t hesitate as he began to take his shirt off I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him, he’s body was worthy of drooling over. When he took his pants off I noticed his member literally spring out as my jaw completely dropped.

No wonder this man was so damn confident, he was hung like a horse. I’ve had 3 kids and that thing completely terrified me. Before I could even think, I blurted out,

“That thing can’t be real!”
