Chapter 34 - The ghost of the past part II

Another man spoke to her with venom in his voice. He glanced at her parents.

Another man spoke next. He stared at them with a deadly glare.

“ Is this how you raise your own daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson ? “

A man who appeared out of nowhere. He was standing behind Jocelynn’s father.

“ This wasn’t what you promised to us. Did you forget, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson “

“ It seems like she doesn’t want to live anymore. I think we should —-“

A man spoke. He was about to reveal the truth. The truth that her parents were hiding from her. However; Jocelynn stepped in and started to shout at them.

“ They have nothing to do with this. Leave my parents alone  “

Jocelynn says that as she steps in front of her parents. She was protecting them from these men. The group of men starts laughing. They start to shake their heads.

“ Ruguo zhe shi jieguo, name women xianzai shenzhi bu ying gai rang HER zhengjiu nin de nu’er ma ?  “ [If this was the outcome, we shouldn't even allow HER to save your daughter now would we ?]

The others spoke in chinese. Jocelynn couldn’t understand. But, one of her parents could make out what they were saying.

“ Shangliang yinggai fuchu renci. Meiyou qita ren keyi liyong. Yuehanxun xiansheng he furen, Nin queshi Xiang women baozheng “ [Kindness should pay with kindness. Not having others to take advantage. You did promise us, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson.]

After that, her parents were trembling in fear. They knew that the time had come. They had a feeling that someone who helped them before is coming back. And it will haunt them forever. Because, the promise that her parents made back then; it will now become invalid. And Jocelynn is running out of time. Especially when her parents don't tell her what’s going on.

“ Goule! Women zou ba. Women yijing zhuan di le xiaoxi. Chu ci zhi wai, HER jihu yao xingle “ [That's enough! Let's go. We already passed the message. Beside, it's almost time for HER to awaken].

A young man with an authority voice called out. She turned around. And out of the corner of her eye; she saw a tall, dark and handsome man appear before them. He was wearing an outfit she doesn’t recognize. Jocelynn glanced at the mysterious man from head to toe. She somehow recognizes him. He had the same aura as her best friend, Katrina. He had the same physical appearance as her best friend. But, the mysterious person was a man. There was a woman by his side. She had the air of familiarity.

“ Let’s go back already. It’s almost time. We have to go. They are calling us “

A beautiful girl yelled across from the room. She also had an authority aura as well.

“ Let’s go. Our niece wants us back home. We already spend too much time here “

A beautiful girl shows no remorse for Jocelynn. She distastes her kind. She notices that Jocelynn is a human. Another human already took advantage of someone important. The girl read her mind. She laughed.

“ This is not the ghost of the past for you . It’s your worst nightmare “

" But your dreams are "

The girl says as she leaves with the others. The group of men that were there left among them. They dispersed. The man and girl were there. The girl stopped midway. She turned to face Jocelynn head on. The man stands next to the girl. He didn’t say anything. Since, what the girl said to her was true.

“ Jocelynn was it? I wonder what my niece sees you in. What kind of person would treat her zui hao de pengyou [bestfriend] like that . Don’t you agree so honey ? “

The girl placed her hands on her man. The man shook his head in disgust too.

“ You can’t hide from us. You could fool your friends and your family. But you cannot fool us. Nor would you fool HER “

After that last statement, they left their home. Jocelynn turned to her parents.

“ What was that mother and father ? “

“ What did you do ? “

She spoke out her opinion as she stared at them.  But, she won’t get her answer from her parents. They stared at each other quietly this whole time. She could see her parents sweating. They are afraid to tell her. So, instead; her mother changed the subject.

“ My dear daughter, Jocelynn; what did that man say to you ? “

Her mother spoke out. She kept her distance from her daughter. She’s supposed to be her daughter. But, she felt like her own daughter was keeping a secret from them.

“ I don’t know my mother. They were speaking chinese. I don’t understand them “

Her parents sigh. Her mom looked at her father. Her father looked at her mother. They both nodded at each other. They look at her. They want her daughter to tell them everything. For instance, who her friends were, etc. There was complete silence. Jocelynn didn’t want to handle this. It was too much. She walked away. And she headed back into her room. After this was happening; far away from her house; a mysterious figure stands outside of another house. He was watching Jocelynn. And his friends were also keeping an eye on Jerome as well. He has to report everything that he has found.

“ Tsk tsk Jocelynn, if you keep lying to your parents. As well as lying to your best friend; no good outcome will come out for you. And your best friend will not be able to help you this time “

A mysterious person spoke. No one could see him. He was covered with a hood. And he was wearing a mask. A skull mask that is.

“ It’s good that they came to their house. Jocelynn has to face the ghost of the past. The one that she kept having in her dreams. It’s about time. She will remember everything “

“ Jerome will always have all his memories returned to him. Not after what we did “

“ Katrina dear, you will remember as well. And when you have all of your memories then I wonder what you will do to them. “

“ The people that were from those memories will awaken. And it will be time for them to serve “

The mysterious man spoke out. It was more of him humming a song. And him putting words through the music. It wasn't the right time yet. He has to wait for everyone to remember. With a wave of his hands, he summons the birds to watch over Jocelynn for him. The birds will be his eyes. His birds have all the connections with other birds too. Gossip is good for these birds, The mysterious man laughs one more time. After that, he disappeared in a thick clouded mist. 

… MEANWHILE …

[The Wales’ Family Household]

“ How is she a doctor ? “

Amelia asked their family doctor. Davina was by her side. She didn’t leave her. The guys were walking back and forth. Like they were pacing around. They didn’t know what to do.

“ Amelia sister; you should text Nora. And inform her of what’s happening “

“ Her brothers need to know too “

Davina says to Amelia through their sister bond in her mind. Amelia sighs. She starts to feel frustrated. She had a feeling that if she told her cousin’s brothers; he wouldn't be happy about it. But, they can’t keep it a secret any longer. Not when it's a super blue blood moon. It will affect everyone in this case. Davina sighs. The girl was sleeping peacefully. 

“ mmmhmmm “

The girl makes a sound in her sleep.

“ She’s waking up ?  “

Elroy spoke out among the others. His voice was perked up. He was happy to hear the sound of her voice. The others were worried. Their family doctor checked up on her.

“ It’s very strange. She’s very healthy. But, she has a fever “

“ With how high her fever is; she wouldn’t be able to survive “

“ Not when you’re a human; you’ll instantly die “

“ But her…that’s another story “

Their family doctor for the Wales’ Family was curious. He was curious about what he found. Amelia stares at Davina. Davina stares at Amelia. They both sigh at the same time.

“ Is there a way to help my cousin out ? “

Davina spoke out her option to him.

“ There is one. But, it will be more dangerous and potent since it’s the super blue blood moon “

“ If we do it now; all the memories she has up to now will disappear “

“ And the memories that she had before all this will return back “

“ She will be back like she was before all this “

“ Unless — “

The family doctor told them. He told them there is a way to save her. But, it will be considered a price to pay. That would be blood spilled. The one who causes her this way. It means that the doctor needs the blood of the people that causes harm to her in any shape and form. He stopped midway of his conversation. He sighs.

“ There’s something else that’s blocking her way “

“ And we won’t know until, we find out the truth “

The others nodded. They had no choice but to have Davina’s cousins’ brother to know about it. It’s a matter of life and death. While they were thinking of what to do, the girl was still sleeping. Unbeknownst to everyone in the room, the girl could see them. Even when her eyes were closed. It was as if her soul was sweeping out of her body. Or that their soul left her body. However; it’s neither. Because she's still alive. Not dead for sure.  The girl appeared behind Davina. No one could see her. 

It was as if she was being see-through. But; at the same time; if you put your hand through her; you can’t really touch her. You know, it's because she doesn’t have a body. The girl has a body. She believes that her body just shut down on its own. The girl sighs.

“ Cousin Davina. Hey I’m right here “

The girl shouts at her. She was trying to get her attention. She even tries to touch her shoulder. But, it went right past her.

“ Woah! freaky. Am I dead ? “

The girl spoke to herself. No one could hear her either. While she was thinking of what to do, she wasn’t alone. When her soul left her body, she also took another soul. A soul that feels exactly like her. You know peas in a pod. Like twins I guess she would think as if like that. Except, the person in front of her; she’s mimicking exactly what she does.

“ Who are you ?  “

The girl spoke out to the person. She notices that the person is also a girl. In front of her, she could see that her skin was so divine and magical. Because her skin was light rose. The color between ivory to porcelain. The color you see as having a pale skin tone like snow. She had a long wavy ombre hair style. It was a mixture of black and red-orange. Like the color you see as the burning flames of the sun. That’s how you describe the color of red-orange. She had an almond slender eyeliner as her eye shape. That’s what she saw in front of her. 

Not only that, the color of her eyebrow is the color of her hair. There was a hint of black among her eyebrows. As for her eye color, you can’t really tell. It sometimes changes depending on the person’s emotions. As for right now; her eyes were a mixture of emerald green with a hint of gold. Her eyebrow shape was round thin. And it’s color matches well with her hair color. The girl doesn't think the hair color she saw is her natural hair color. It appears as if the person dyed her hair. The person had a defined heart shape.

The person had a defined natural nose shape. As for the person’s lip shape, she had a full heart.  As for her lips; the girl could see the person’s lips were all shiny. She could recognize it was a gloss lipstick color the person uses. The lip color of the person was the color of peach. You know the taste of the fruit. After that, there was another girl beside the one in front of her. She had the same physical appearance. Except her eye shape was almond moonlit. Her eyes were icy blue.  For no appearance reason, the girl gets this feeling that their eyes reflect the emotions they feel.

“ You gals have such beautiful eye colors “

“ Does your eye color have any meaning behind it ?“

The girl asked the others before her.  The black and red-orange ombre pointed at her eyes. The girl nodded. They all looked at each other before looking at her. They laugh.

“ You have a knack of these huh “

The black and red-orange ombre spoke out. The girl tilted his head to the side.

“ Enough about that. I guess you could say we are the ghost of the past “

Countless other voices appeared one-by-one. It echoes throughout the room. No one could hear the voices though.
