Chapter 47 - Hidden secrets part I

There was a long pause that was already overdue. As if the girl was in deep thought, the long awaited moment came to pass. Amelia has already called the chauffeur that worked for her parents. She has her own limo driver. As the tinted midnight blue hue of the long black limo arrived. Everyone there was shocked. Especially Kiana and her guy friends. Kiana didn’t know how powerful and wealthy her cousin was. The girl held her laughter at their shocking face. The six men weren't that surprised.

No one really knows the background story of Katrina Sawyer. And why her biological parents don't want anyone to know. They didn’t want the public to know the true identity of her. There was even a secret that even her parents hadn't told her. And they will tell anyone about it. Even if their lives depend on it. Hidden secrets are always a moment to be stashed back at the minds of others. It was a sign of weakness for them. And soon the truth will reel it’s ugly head.

“ I guess we don’t need to go use your four cars anymore Brian “

“ It seem the twin sisters are one step ahead of you “

The girl stifled a laugh. It was rude of her if she laughed at them. Elroy spoke for her through their link privately. Cedrick was holding his laughter as well. Franklin noticed the girl was tearing. But, he didn’t know if the tear was from laughing or it was an actual tear. Brian starts to inhale and exhale. He could see that his mate was trying her best not to laugh at him. He playfully started to pout at her. And the others follow suit laughing in a raging wave. Her heart was tugging at her at great length.

She was wondering if this was her heart telling her to open up. Even though a part of her doesn’t know why her heart was closed in the first place. She could feel the warmth from all the six men in her life. And she wants to know what went wrong. Or what was missing from her life. The questioning of knowing is eating her alive. A part of her deep down knew that her boyfriend, Jerome, had a hidden secret of his own. Her face suddenly turned stoned cold. As if an aggressive side of her starts to sweep out of her. She starts to growl at the thought.

The five men stop laughing. They turn their heads at their mates. They definitely heard that lowly growl. But, it wasn’t aimed towards them. Each one of them tilts their head to the side. They were looking confused as a hint of worry filled their eyes. The girl starts to walk towards Brian. She found his pout was really cute. Just like an endless teddy bear ready to be cuddled. She felt all the six men’s gaze at her. Her legs start to turn soft and jelly. She barely couldn’t stand. 

Her face swiftly changed to red. A rosy red cheek appeared on her face. To them, it was really cute to see their mate blushing furiously.  The girl took a deep breath. The girl ignored the feeling. She walked towards him. But, as she tries to act normal; she couldn’t. She tripped out of nowhere. There weren't any rocks or anything. She was about to fall flat on her face.

“ Stupid me ! “

“ My feet don’t respond right “

The girl says to herself in her mind. She knew she was embarrassing herself. She didn’t care if someone saw it. There were no hidden secrets from her. She let out in the open. The six men came to her rescue. A damsel in distress. A person who appears to be in trouble. They all caught her fall. Her face fell on Brian’s chest. The sound she made was muffled.

“ Ooof “

The girl made a sound. Brian caught her in time as he was the closest to her. The other five breathe a sigh of relief. Other audience watching was awed at the scene. It was breathtaking to see.

“ Aww that’s cute. I wish I had someone like that “

Kiana says to herself. She didn’t notice her surroundings. The other four guys heard her speaking. They start coughing at the sight of what she says. The girl heard it.

“ Oh come on Kiana, you’ll find a guy to love you “

“ Just make sure you have a faithful boyfriend though “

The girl pointed out to her the pros and cons of having a boyfriend. This was the first time Kiana heard her cousin telling her about this. The four guys gasp at the information they heard.

“ You have a boyfriend ? “

Kiana’s guy friends asked in Kiana’s place. The others who heard it snap their head to their direction. The girl’s smile starts to frown. She looked down. She stayed silent, not saying anything. 

“ That’s a sensitive topic to talk about “

Amelia and Davina say to them. They were telling them to not ask any further. The girl didn’t say anything. She just raises her head up in confidence with her face to appear in the stone cold. Her facial expression was left expressionlessly. She didn’t have any emotions left on her face. She was eye-to-eye level to everyone as she looked at each of them. She gave them a weak smile.

“ There’s a part of me wishes not to remember any actions my boyfriend does “

The girl says as her mumbles. She looked at them with sadness. She holds her tear in. She doesn’t want to show her side of weakness. It would make her look vulnerable. Kiana knows not to go any further. She nodded at her direction.

“ Okay “

Kiana says instantly.  Silence took over again. Her guy friends stayed quiet too. Now it has become awkward. The girl starts to feel weak as if her body starts to shut down on its own. A pitch darkness lingers in her heart. And it starts to crumble through her mind. She ignored that kind of feeling. The limo car came. Along with four more cars. Those four cars are bodyguards to protect them from any danger just to be on a safe side. Everyone is filling in the seat one by one. Kiana and the guys as well as Amelia and Davina sat in the center door. It was like behind the passenger seat where the limo driver was. But, you can’t really see it, because the window was closed.

Three out of six men enter the last door of the limo car. They went in. They start to cautiously watch their mate go inside. The other three were behind her. The same inkling feeling she had starts to become stronger again. And in that instant without any warning, she blacked out. The three guys that were inside the limo called out to her. They started to say her name.

“ KATRINA  !!!!  “

Agustin, Darwin and Elroy  called out to her in a panic. Each of them is dreading that feeling they had. Amelia and Davina heard it too. They were the only girls who came out in a split a second. Kiana can’t go out, because she injured her foot and ankle. The four guys are like her knight except they are her friends. Kiana didn’t have time to reel in what’s going on as the twins closed the door right away. 

“ What’s going on ? “

Davina rushed out to be by her side. Amelia saw their cousin laying on the floor. Except, her head was in the lap of Brian. Franklin and Cedrick stayed behind. The three guys kneeled down. Brian has her head. Franklin has her body. And Cedrick had her legs. They were keeping her well protected from hurting herself from the floor.

“ i-i-i “

Brian starts to stutter. He couldn’t form any words. He was starting to worry more.

“ We don’t know. She starts to black out here and there “

Cedrick says as he took a deep breath.

“ Does this have to do with that HUMAN BOY “

Franklin says to her. He starts to grit his teeth as he mentions him. He starts to clench his fist too. They all had a long feeling that their mate is in pain. They were also feeling the pain. Not the feeling of betrayal, since she couldn’t recognize them. But, it was a pain of suffering their mate was feeling. It’s like a part of her wants to return. Return to how she became. Not the lonely and vulnerable girl. Not the one who doesn’t remember anything. The ‘ amnesia ‘ girl is taking a toll on her body. She’s not aware of the infidelity that her boyfriend is doing behind her back. It was the kind of feeling she’s been having nonstop. And it’s killing her slowly.

“ It’s possible “

Amelia took notice.

“ But, it’s only a guess “

“ This is bigger than him. There are other people who also blindly took advantage of her kindness while she was here in the human world “

Davina pointed out.

“ Come on, let’s go to the Sae Family’s family hospital. Maybe they know more of this than us “

Amelia and Davina said at the same time. The other three sigh. They nodded. Franklin scooped her up. She was in his embrace. Brian and Cedrick enter the limo first. Franklin followed suit, while he was carrying her in his arms.  He slowly entered the car. He made sure not to hit her head against it. It would be hard to explain it to her when she wakes up. Kiana forgot to ask them their names. So, she would do that when she’s at the hospital. The ride was silent. No one talks.

… MEANWHILE …

A blazing fire circulates the air. Lightning flashes through the sky. It starts to ripple through the effects.  Tearing them apart. Swords dance in a double edge of the love hidden away in sadness. Thrust pierce through the heart. Aching throughout the raging waves. It starts to peel away the truth. Giving you a frozen mask to wear. Would that define the person who they are? Even when the humans were facing danger everyday in their quake. Those are the questions everyone is facing these days.

In the same state which was California; there was an island located near San Francisco. It was called ‘ Alcatraz Island. It was a place where you locked up all the bad people. It was supposed to be a ‘ prison cell ‘. It was a term that humans call it anyways. It was a small island. On the small island, they developed facilities. Facilities like a lighthouse, a military fortification and a military prison along with a federal prison. It was established on January 17 1986. However; the history of it was a mystery. 

No one knows whether there was a supernatural living among the human races. Even no one has heard of supernatural beings being imprisoned in the human cell. Not in Alcatraz Island that is. If anyone in the supernatural government got wind about it, they would go berserk. Especially when both presidents of different species sign a peace treaty with each other. And they don’t want a war coming. Not yet anyways. If the peace treaty between the humans and nonhumans is supernatural; the humans will be left unprotected. 

And when the humans are left unprotected then they would be vulnerable to anything. Such as crimes, natural disasters, diseases, etc. anything you name would be how humans will be in their vulnerable state. However; in the island of Alcatraz; a group of mysterious people wearing cloaks to protect their face were watching from afar. They could feel that someone important to them was about to awaken. And they are looking for the seven deadly sins. Those could easily help her have her memories return. And the sadness she would feel will be ten times worse than death.

“ I want you all to go find HER now ! “

A mysterious man voices his opinion. He uses his authority on his people.

“ We must find her before humans continue to take advantage of her while she’s in her state of weakness “

Another mysterious man spoke to them. It was a voice of reason. They don’t want her to lose control.

“ We also must help her remember those days. The days on July 2 1991. The day that everything started. And the world was in chaos “

Another mysterious man spoke among them. They both nodded in agreement.

“ I think a part of her was forgotten after she saved an infant and its mother from death. And from there someone precious towards her was taken away in blink of an eye “

Another mysterious man spoke too. They were all in agreement. They decide to split their duties. They were split into four people. One would look for the infant and its mother. Another would look for the seven deadly sins who would help HER recover her lost memories that were once sealed. Another would find the royal family that was forgotten in the minds of others. And so forth. There are so many hidden secrets. And they will start to reveal them one by one slowly.

As they split their duties; one reaches the city of San Francisco. Another reached the city of Daly City. And another reached the city of Colma. That was a total of twelve people looking for a specific person. The leader that leads this group is kept hidden. He watches them from afar. And the other four were with the leader. Their duty was to keep an eye on someone important to them. The leader stayed on the island of Alcatraz. They were checking to see if there wasn’t any supernatural being held in the prison. Because, if there was; they would declare war on the humans. Since to them; there’s no ifs; no buts; etc.

Time continues to slowly move. It waits for no one. And people aren’t aware of their surroundings. If they did, they would see those mysterious figures. But, they didn’t. They just mind their own business. The first group of mysterious figures landed on the alley of San Francisco. The two decide to report their leader where they are in. So, one of them calls forth a magical item. It was the only way to keep their identity hidden. After a moment of silence, they wait for their leader to answer. It didn’t take long. Their leader answered right away.

“ Sir we are in the city of San Francisco “

A man's voice spoke gently, but quietly in a whisper. The one who made the barrier kept a watch out. If anyone tries to pass here, he would feel it. So, they are on high alert. They had to make sure they didn't attack humans.

“ Very good. I want you two to meet someone “

“ They would help you blend in the human society “

“ They will create a new identity for you, so it would be easy for you guys to walk among the day without being suspicious “

Their leader spoke in a serious tone.

“ Sir is this wise. What if the person will tell people ? “

The man’s partner spoke his opinion to him.

“ If that was the case then you know how to handle it “

“ Just don’t kill the person. We don’t want to be the one who started the war “
