Chapter 7 - The Unknown part I

Others saw them asleep. They were awed at how well they could sleep. They left them alone. Soraya and the others were enjoying each others’ company. Soraya kept her friend Acadia busy. She didn’t want her friend to cause any trouble while they slept. Agustin and the guys came over. They sat right in front of Jerome and Rina. He didn’t want anyone to take a picture of them, while they slept. They wanted their own privacy. So, he did. He protected them well.
Meanwhile, a mysterious group of people appeared. They watch endlessly from afar. They despise humans a lot. To them, they cannot intervene. They wait until the plan is in motion. They too were looking for someone. However; whoever that may be; they are good at hiding. Or better yet they don’t want to be found.
By the rooftop of Meat of Deep Fried
A young girl sat on top of it. She stayed put. She watches as every human passes by. She felt that she’s not alone.
“ I know you’re there. Show yourself “ said the girl as she sighs whenever she’s bored.
In a split second, the same mysterious group of people appeared. They showed their respect to the girl.
“ Ah. What a pleasure for you handsome men showing up here ? “ said the girl as she felt the presence of someone who’s very powerful.
The people looked at each other before they spoke. They sigh. They start to debate what to say. They didn’t want to anger the girl.
“ We’re looking for someone very important to us, “ says the man wearing a black robe.
The girl didn’t say anything. She knew who they were looking for. But, it wasn’t the right time for it. It’s still too early. She needs to remember on her own. That’s the whole reason why a girl like herself was here.
“ Let me guess, you’re looking for THAT person aren’t you ? “ said the girl as she could feel their presence still lingering around.
“ We are. If you know who we are looking for. Please help us. Our people need her. I just hope it’s not too late. I hope the humans have treated her right “ says the man to the girl as he talked to her gently.
The girl sighs. She still has power over them. Since, these people felt the same energy around her. They can’t go against her. They are indeed in the human world that is. They can’t roam freely.
“ And if I say she wasn’t being treated with the same respect as the others.. What would you do then ? Besides, the human president is naive. And stupid. They are killing both lives. Whether it's the economy or the land. Both parties will still get hurt. Why do we need to be there “ says the girl as she continues to talk to them trying to find out their agenda before she reveals everything to them.
The man sighs.
“ That’s completely nonsense. She should be treated equally no matter what. No one shouldn’t take advantage of her while she’s like this. The treaty we have among the humans will be invalid “ said another man wearing a red robe.
“ Oh so then you’re saying that if anyone tries to cause trouble then the peace treaty that the humans have created a long time ago will be of no use. What will happen to our kind ? Humans are so greedy “ said the girl as she breathed in and out feeling the wind coursing through her when she sighed.
Others were chatting among each other. They also nodded at each of the comments being said back and forth. The man in black robe stayed quiet. He stepped back. He let others join the conversation.
“ It depends. Whoever the humans have caused trouble with. They would solve it on their own. However; if humans were dating our kind then that would be a lot different. And also a lot of complications “ said the man wearing a blue robe.
“ Very well. I’ll allow you to roam in the human world. So, you could find whoever you’re looking for. But, know this; do NOT by any means cause any trouble while you are here. We do not want to have another repeat of it happening. Do I make myself clear ? “ said the girl as she got up and turned around to face them.
The man nodded.
“ Don’t worry. We will not interfere with humans. Nor will we interact with those pathetic people. Besides, we don’t want to alarm the HUNTERS that humans were made for. This world would be like a dream. Since, they are oblivious to everything around them “ said the man wearing a green robe.
The girl sighs. She stands before them. They didn’t falter. Nor did the girl lower her head down. She was powerful. And stronger among these groups of men. Even if they were highly trained by powerful families. The girl looked at each one of these people. She showed no fear.
“ Before you go, I want you guys to look into something. As well as, Could you guys also gather information about these groups of humans I’ve seen before you came here. I want to know whether they are worthy to be trusted. They are the first group of humans that dare me “ said the girl as she spoke up about them to these mysterious groups of people.
“ Of course. We’ll do as you say. I’ll let a few of my men find out more about them. Who are they and what are their names ? “ said the men wearing yellow robes.
The girl looks up in the night sky. She looked at the moon. She still feels worried. She could still feel what that girl could feel.
“ The male humans are Oliver Anderson, Oscar Beckett, Orion Blackwell, Owen Campbell, Orlando Cohen, Oswaldo Smith and Omar Harrison. As for the female humans; they are Soraya Miller and Acadia Braxley “ said the girl as she gave them each pictures of what name goes well with it.
They bowed towards her. Then they disperse after receiving the photo. The girl sat back down on the rooftop of the pizza place. She continues to watch people coming by back and forth. She felt so bored. But, she felt relaxed under the night sky. The cold breeze of the wind made her feel calm. She starts to hum a song. A song that felt so familiar to her. The humans are not aware of anything. Nor do they know the supernatural does exist. She could tell who’s a supernatural and who’s a human. They both have different scents.
The mysterious girl sighs. The sky is wary. It was another busy day. She just hopes there is information about them. She sighs again. Without hesitation, she spoke again in chinese. It was like she was talking to a rhythmic poet.

After the mysterious girl spoke, a ball of flash light appeared before her. A round table came along with twelve chairs around it. It safely landed on the rooftop of where she was. The round table was covered with a majestic fabric of it. In the center of the table was a magical crystal ball placed steady in it. Twelve shadowed figures appeared before her as it stepped out of its shadow and into the night. They were all wearing a black cloth covering their whole body. It descended into the chair fully sitting down.
“ Que cherchez-vous a nous appealer de l’ombre?“ [What do you seek from calling us from the shadows ?]
A voice spoke out after silence was in the air. He breathed into the icy cold. It didn’t waver nor turn its body to the girl. His stares were deadly as a snake.
“ C’est comme ca que tu me parles? Cela fait si longtempus que vous sortez pour jouer “ [Is that how you talk to me? You’ve been out to play for so long]. The girl spoke in French when she got a slight anger in her voice from them.
“ Mes excuses. Nous ne sommes pas venus ici pour vous rendre fou “ [My excuses. We didn’t come here to drive you crazy.
Another voice spoke after the other one. However; this voice was gentle yet calm.
“ Excuses acceptees. Je voice que tu n’as pas change ton comportenment “ [Apology accepted. I see you have changed your behavior]. The girl who spoke to him in a calming and relaxing tone.
Once again silence looms in the air. No one spoke. They are afraid to anger the girl. The girl sighs. After a few minutes, the crystal ball reacts to a strong surge of power. It wasn’t coming to the girl. But, below her. A flash of light appeared to the crystal ball. It made way and showed these people what they seek.
“ Dites-moi que voyez-vous dans la boule de cristal “ [Tell me what do you see in the crystal ball?]. The girl spoke again as she watched the humans from below.
“ Je sens la colere, la jalousie, la confusion et la toxicite. Je l’ai ressenti a travers les emotions de humains. Mais pourquoi? “ [I sense anger, jealousy, confusion and toxic. I felt it through the emotions of humans. But why?]
A voice spoke. It was a confusing tone as it spoke. I wonder why. The girl sighs again. She looked at the moon and the sky.
“ Les gens que vous voyez sont a quel point les humains peuvent facilement etre affectes par les actions quails not faites “ [People what you see are how easily human could be affected by any actions they have done.]
There were murmurs and whispers among them. They didn’t utter a word. They listen only.
“ Je t’ai appele ici. Parce que vous avez tous un travail a faire. Un qui n’implique pas de les blesser “ [I called you here. Because, all of you have a job to do. One that doesn't involve in hurting them].
“ Je veux vior ce que rechercent les humains. Les humains qui ont entire une certaine personne. Celui qui affects son esprit, son corps et son ame. Je veux savoir “ [I want to see what the humans are seeking. The humans that have surrounded a certain person. One that affects her mind, body and soul. I want to know.]
The girl felt a surge of power. She knew where it’s coming from. It takes all of herself to control her. She needs her to remember. But, in doing so; she will not go back to normal. It was the will of that certain person. The girl sings again.
“ Proposez-vous que vous nous testiez ces humains? Les humains que vous avez rencontres, avec lesquels vous vous etes entretenu et avec qui vous vous etes lie d’amitie “ [Are you proposing that you want us to test these humans? The humans that you met, spoke and befriend with].
The girl didn’t utter a word. She just nodded at them instead. She had plenty of pictures of the humans that she saw with her own eyes. And she already learned their names. With a wave of her hands, nine images of the humans appeared before them. But, only nine people could do this. The other three have different assignments.
“ Vous pouvez decider qui de cess humains souhaitez-vous tester. Mais, Sur vous douze, il ne resterait que trois a faire autre chose “ [You can decide who of these humans do you wish to test. But, out of you twelve only three would be left doing something else.]
The twelve shadow figures discuss among each other. The girl could hear it all. She just minds her own business. Since, she doesn’t want to interfere with them. She knows that they like to compete against each other. More like they want to get a prize, a favor, etc. She could tell that these people will decide carefully. They would choose which humans go well with their skills and abilities to test them. After so many minutes have passed, they finish deciding which human would go well with themselves.
“ Avez-vous jean decide duels humains mont bien avec vos competences?“ [Have you guys already decided which humans will do well with your skills and abilities?]
“ Parce que vous n’avez qu’une seule chance de faire ca “ [Because you guys only get one chance in doing this.]
“ L’echec n’est une option pour aucun de vous les gars “ [Failure is not an option for any of you guys. ]
“ Surtout quand votre cible est specialement destinee aux humains que je vous ai donnee “ [Especially when your target are specially for humans that I gave you]
“ Une fois que vous avez termine, rapportez-moi tout ce que vous avez trouve. Comprendre? “ [Once you’re done report everything to me what you have found. Understand?]
“ Je n’interfererai pas dans ce que vous faites avec ces humains. SI vous ne faites que les tester “ [I will not interfere in what you do with these humans if you’re only testing them.

After the girl spoke one more time, there was complete silence. She could hear the sound of gulping from their mouth. Because, before; they thought humans were simply easy targets. But, it depends on how strong their will power is. After a while, one carefully picks what to say to the girl.
“ Nous ferons ce que vous nous demandez votre sainteté “ [We will do what you ask for us your holiness.]
A male voice spoke as he responded gently.
“ Vous mar dame etes dune plus haute puissance “ [You my lady are from a highest power.]
