Chapter 49 - Nothing is the same part I

It was sad for me to remember it like this. I knew Heather did that to save the royal princess. It was her way to transfer the fate. After that happened, the royal princess didn’t wake up. And the queen was there to protect her children. She was in an unfamiliar land. It was a human world. But, it felt different. The lives of another human will change. Jocelynn Johnson was supposed to die 27 years ago. But, she was saved. She was given a second chance to live. The future of others would also change. 

After a while, the queen’s whereabouts were nowhere to be found. That event was hectic. Because, the queen uses her powers to seal the memories of what happened within the consciousness of her daughter. She even sealed her daughter’s power while staying in the human world. She made her daughter wear jewelry to conceal her identity. The queen had to wait two years. She found another human couple. They were expecting a daughter to be born. The queen understood. 

That human infant she saw was the counterpart of her daughter. And that human couple she saw was the counterpart of themselves. Except they are humans with no powers or abilities. They are completely humans. And their infant daughter was also human. The infant was born indeed. But, those families had a lot of enemies. The only way to keep themselves safe and also their unborn child was to give it up to someone else. She saw the real name of the infant. She didn’t read it aloud. She fears that someone might recognize the infant once found.

The only memento the infant has was the locket around her neck. The queen decides to enchant the locket. So that no humans try to take it from her. She also wears the same jewelry as the queen’s daughter. So their lives were intertwined long ago. The human infant was the counterpart of the queen’s daughter. The queen decides to make the human couple believe they gave birth to two identical triplets. The queen saw her daughter’s body transform back to an infant. Along with the boy. The boy was the queen’s son.

The queen gave her last order from her authority to the royal guard. The royal guard was indeed me. I was the leader of all this. I was supposed to keep these three safe. I knew that the Heart Family was the royal family. The other two like Flores’ Family and The Collin’s Family are from a noble family. I could sense it a mile away. They are cousins of course. Flores and Collins are friends with The Heart family.

I sigh at the thought. I speak all this in my mind. I remembered everything. Serena Heat dated the son of the Collins Family. The son was none other than Jason Collins. He was the ex-lover to Serena. But, they were not meant to be. Because, their marriage to each other was invalid. Not after her royal parents passed away for real. Someone found them dead. Serena was the only heir to her family’s name. No one has done that yet. They were oblivious to anything. The castle to the Heart Family was eerie quiet. 

They knew that the castle was alive. It kept the people there living a longer life. Serena wasn’t normal. She could live longer than her husband. I knew the twins that belong to the queen don't age. Because, the Heart Family is where the queen once belonged to. It was in the past. Her royal name as part of the Heart Family wasn’t recorded. It was best. That’s why Serena’s parents were killed. Because she was a royal. And no one doesn’t like royalties. Serena kept her identity a secret. The only ones who knew these were the Flores and Collins Family. 

After years have passed; the royal princess doesn’t know her lineage. She married a man. A man who will love her. I also found out that the man and her were destined to be with each other. Strange right. Strange occurrences are unexplained.Serena married Darien Flores. It was meant to be. Before she married; she gave birth to a son. A legitimate son to the name. She decided to give her ex lover’s last name for her son. Her son's name was Johnathan Collin. He was the son of Jason Collin. 

She decided to have him be raised by her father. Jason was happy to hear that there was an heir. Jason’s wife died from giving birth. He only had Johnathan, the son of Serena. Darien knew about it. He wasn’t mad about it. He was understanding. Serena tied the knot with Darien. She and him were now officially married. Her last name Heart was changed to Flores. Serena had given birth to one son and one daughter. The son's name was Matthew Flores. And her daughter's name is Alison Flores. 

As for Matthew; he found the woman of his life. She was perfect. She was also his other half. Just like a mate to a werewolf. Matthew knew about her mother’s past. He knew his mother had enemies. His wife was also powerful too. His wife was the mafia princess in the human world. His wife’s brother works for the government. He controls the police forces behind the scene. He had someone control the police from the public. His wife’s brother trusted this human. His name was Willy Wilson. He works for his wife’s brother.

Matthew had no choice, but to hide his daughter from another family. A family that was supposed to love her. Care for her. Give everything that he couldn’t give. He gave away his daughter to The Sawyer family. He knew the married couple. They didn’t have any children yet. They tried, but failed. Well they suppose to have a daughter. But, she died from birth. The married couple accepted in raising his daughter for him. 

The married couple gave the infant a new name. It’s name was Katrina Sawyer. They did everything they could to raise her as their own. When they do that good things happen for them. And a miracle happened for Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer. The woman gave birth to one son and one daughter. I remember the Sawyer Family. The woman’s name was Trini Sawyer. And her husband was Tony Sawyer. And the two children she gave birth to were beautiful. She gave their children names. Her son's name was Ren Sawyer. And her daughter’s name is Rei Sawyer.

Her children were jealous of the love their mother gave for Katrina. The seed of darkness was built in. Matthew believes that his cousin Trini Sawyer would still continue to raise her well. But that was all a complete lie. I didn’t know what’s going on behind the door. No one did. I kept hearing rumors that Katrina Sawyer ended up in the hospital a lot of times. And bad things always happen to her. I will find the truth of it.

The leader stopped reminiscing about the memories he had up to now. The memories he shared were twenty-seven years ago. It was the only thing that kept him moving. He will not stop and find his mate. His mate was none other than Heather. To him; he was the love of his life. To him; he could tell that she was perfect. To him; he knew that his mate was not dead. It couldn’t be. It was too early to give up. He knew that his Heather was stronger. Because; to him; his mate wasn’t a human. 

If his mate was human; then it would be easy for her to die quickly. And humans age and die as time passes. As well as humans also die either by car accidents or by an illness or diseases is what he thinks. He was in a good mood. Since, his men have been located in San Francisco. He would not stop his search. As time passes; on further notice; which was on the other side of where the city was; humans aren’t aware of him. Humans are naive. They think nothing strange. They are oblivious to anything. They won’t open their eyes to see the truth.

City of San Francisco

The two handsome men continue their journey. They try to blend in with humans. They could see countless humans dying. It was unheard of. Unless you count their own kind killing each other. They could feel the hate lingered into the air. They could also smell the blood of humans splutter somewhere where no humans cannot go. They took a deep breath. They didn’t want to go berserk. They were on a mission. And they will not fail.

I looked in the front. The other was looking at the cloud. They could see that it was a sunny day. And any other humans they saw were showing too much skin. They don’t get hot when wearing too many layers on their body. They were used to it. Time continues to move forward slowly again.  Not until; they felt a strong urge of power coming from somewhere. They followed it leading them to pier 39. When they reached it, the surge of power ended there. They smelled the fresh air and many things. 

But, what attracted them more was that there was a faint scent. A scent that smells so familiar to them. To them, it smelled like honey, rose and waffles. The kind that smells so sweet, but also smells so fragrant. They thought they found their soulmate. The kinds you find in a supernatural world. Except better in the human world. However; that wasn’t the case for these two. They didn’t need to find a mate in the human world. Because, they already had one back in the original world. 

A world that was right for them. Where humans and nonhumans co-exist with each other. Non Humans are people who were born with powers or direct descendants to either a god or supernaturals. They had a feeling you might know about it. So, they want to make sure you’re on the right page. The familiar scent made them smile. Even though it was a faint scent. But, they start to frown. It wasn’t what they expected.

Taylor’s Household

Roman’s POV

Hi, my name is Roman Taylor. I’m the son of Alfred and Annabelle Taylor. I got a text from my father. He told me that our brother, Jeremy, has a girlfriend. I knew he had one. I didn’t know who thought at first. Ever since, he brought her to our house secretly. I knew it was right. I connect the dots altogether. But, I wonder if our mother will know if he has a girlfriend. I did hear from my mother before that she found an intruder in our house. And that she threatened her. I don’t think it’s good to threaten someone if she’s trying to steal things from us. 

I just hope mother doesn’t do anything rational. Like I don’t want her to end up in prison. Nor do I want her to beat someone up for the sake of protecting our brother. I find it funny that Jeremy was really not our real brother. He was adopted. I knew that for sure. Because, if he was my brother; he would have the same physical appearance as our parents. But, he doesn’t have any features that similars mother or father. So, I knew right away. But blood doesn’t make a family.

It’s who raises you as their own. I did remember one time when my brother, Jeremy, brought his girlfriend to the house. I find it cute that he tries to hide his girlfriend in the closet whenever I come home. He thought I wouldn't find out. I saw her inside the closet of his room when he was in the bathroom. It was a cute reaction coming from her. When I found her, she was scared like a mouse. The sound she made was so cute I couldn’t resist it. Her stare was so hard to resist. It was hard to resist her when she was standing in front of me. 

She couldn’t speak. But, she had a feeling that I was her boyfriend’s brother. I just find it strange that my brother, Jeremy, had to hide her. I wonder if it was him who hid their relationship from mother. Or was it from his girlfriend. I know how harsh and judgmental my mother would be. I also heard mother lecturing him twice. I think it was about the same girl. I wanted to tell my mother that he has a girlfriend. But, I’m sure he doesn’t want his mother to find out. Father told me she found Jeremy made a strange sound.

They found out it came from the garbage area of the apartment. And that our mother found him with the same woman. Mother threatened her again. And it got worse. The worst part was that she threatened Jeremy’s girlfriend not to see him anymore. If she did, she would get the police involved. My father stayed quiet. For some reason, he knew who the girl was. But, mother was oblivious to anything. What’s even strange was that every time mother threatened my brother, Jeremy’s girlfriend; her facial expression was stone cold.

His brother’s girl wasn’t afraid of mother. There was more than meets the eyes. When I found the rest of my siblings coming home, I was about to tell them about our brother’s girlfriend. But, they were one step ahead of me. They knew that their brother, Jeremy, had a girlfriend. They also put the puzzle together. They were angry that he had to hide that he has a girlfriend. I find it strange. Oh well that’s his life.We both agree and pray that our mother doesn’t cause any trouble. We don’t want to find our mother in prison. One of our siblings feels like Jeremy’s girlfriend looks oddly familiar. Like she saw her from somewhere.

A boy who is related to Jeremy has revealed himself as his brother. But, they weren’t really blood related. He was his adopted brother. His siblings nodded in agreement. They decide to split the duties. The duties were to find more information about their brother, Jeremy’s girlfriend. There has to be some information about her. They didn’t want him to act rational either. Nor cause trouble if he had made one. They just don’t know how to meet her without looking suspicious. 

There were eight of them. So they decided to split into two groups. They thought it would be quicker. Roman counted as four groups. One needs information about Jeremy’s girlfriend. For instance, her name; who her family was; etc. The second would find out where she lives or works. The third would be finding out who her friends are. The fourth one decides to find out what places she goes to. So, it would be convenient for them. It wouldn’t look strange. They want to see what kind of girlfriend Jeremy had.

Rosemary’s POV

Hi, my name is Rosemary Taylor. I’m the daughter of Alfred and Annabelle. I found out that the brother who lived all the time was not related to me and the family. I heard from my mother that ‘ Adrian Taylor ‘ was an alias name for the boy. Father told us that ‘ Adrian Taylor ’s real name was Jeremy ‘ Jereome ‘ Carter. I was shocked. My other two sisters were already married. I was also married too. I had a family as well. Not to add anymore stress than I have, I found out from my mother that he brought a girl home. And that he tries to hide from us.

I put the puzzle together. Our brother, Jeremy, brought the same girl not only once but a couple of times. Then, I found out she was his girlfriend. I was surprised. I wasn’t mad. I was happy that there was a girl who would love him for him. I was mad that my mother had to find out that there was a girl in the house. And the fact that she threatened her a lot of times. Even worse; she yelled at her. She lectured her. And she threatened her. That was disrespectful. Doesn't the mother know that she was her son, Jeremy’s girlfriend. 

I just hope mother didn’t cause any trouble. I don’t want my mother to end up in prison. The rest of our siblings also agree to do research about his girlfriend. We need to know if she was worthy to date him. I know how protective mother was. But, the way she tried to protect him was wrong. Even my father stayed quiet. He knew where he had seen his girlfriend from. And that was a secret even father had to keep. I did hear from my father from  where he works. And that his boss told him that his favorite niece is coming to California.

His boss did show him a picture of what his niece looked like. His boss told him to treat her nicely if he ever met her. He stayed quiet when he saw his wife's mother threatening the girl. The girl was none other than our brother’s girlfriend. He stayed quiet. He was shaken in fear. The way brother, Jeremy told us. It was like my father saw a ghost. A ghost from the past. But, that wasn’t the case. He felt fear for once after she saw the girl that his son was dating. I just hope the girl wasn’t who she thought she was.

Rosemary was thinking really hard. She doesn’t know what to think of this. She does know that her brother, Jeremy doesn’t know that they know about his girl. They would try to play along with it. Until, she and the rest of her siblings get to the bottom of this. She remembers seeing her brother’s girlfriend's name. She tries to research any information about her on Google. There was no information about Katrina Sawyer. No one does. So, she tries texting any of her friends if they know anyone with the name Katrina Sawyer. 

She was teamed up by one of her brothers. Her siblings were already teamed up. When her siblings were about to get up from them kneeling; they heard countless texts ding from their phones. Especially her. She also received the text. They all got a text from their friends. Luck wasn’t on their side. It was as if God was playing tricks on them. But, that was further the truth.

Everyone’s POV

Daniel

Hi, my name is Daniel Taylor. I’m also the son of Alfred and Annabelle Taylor. My real brothers are Roman and Levi. Jeremy is my adopted brother which I heard from our parents. My sisters are Rosemary, Daphne and Lindsey. My three sisters are already married. It only leaves my two brothers. Jeremy wasn’t married yet. I know that he as my adopted brother has a girlfriend. I also feel like he also had a secret lover. But, I wouldn’t know about that. I got a text from one of my closest friends. The way he texted me was a voice of concern. It was as if he could hear fear from each words he read.

I read the text from one of my closest friends. Yes,  I forgot to mention did I? Sorry that didn’t cross my mind. His name is Hernandez Gonzalez. He was funny. This is the first time he expresses how he feels about this. I heard another ding from my phone. I checked to see who it was. And to my surprise he did.

It was passing around through the mouth and ear of others. So, it wasn’t that shocking. I’m surprised why you want a woman’s name. You haven't been interesting to any females lately.

I read the text from him. I rolled my eyes from his comment from the last text. I sigh. I need the information. Information concerning Katrina Sawyer. The girlfriend of my brother, Jeremy. Even though I know he wasn’t really my real brother. I continue to read what my closest friend has to say.

Her name seems to take notice. I just want to know why though.

Okay. I’ll tell you what I know. But, if someone asks you where you get this information. Please don’t tell them you got it from me. I don’t want to cause any problems.

I was excited to hear what he said. But, I started to frown at the last sentence. Why would Hernandez feel threatened? Did I threaten him? That cannot be. I took notice that all of my siblings also read the text their friends got from them. I heard a lot of sighs here and there.
