She heard someone say. She was about to plunge the knife at her. When she raises the knife at herself. But, within seconds; the police officers press the gun. Others could hear multiple shots of a gun. Jocelynn screamed. The police officers sigh in relief. The bullet didn’t hurt her. The knife was dropped unsteadily. And within moments; the police that were near her ran fast. She was in a panic. The police officers gently grab her wrist. And he pulled it towards her. He puts her hands behind her back. She was on the floor. Her stomach was touching the floor.
“ Let me go “
She shouted at them.
“ I didn’t do it “
She continues to say that she was innocent over and over. Tears continue to fall on her face. The other police officers came to approach her. He had the handcuff ready. She continues to wiggle her way out. Except she couldn’t. The grip was too strong. She saw Jerome. He sighs. He didn’t look away from her. Instead, he raised his head up. And he became startled. Startled as he screamed.
“ What now ? “
The police officers said. They turned to face the man. Jerome didn’t say anything. He stayed quiet. All he did was extend his right hand. He raised it up to the wall. The police officers followed where he was pointing at.
“ Jesus. What the heck is THAT ? “
One of the police officers that wasn’t preoccupied says. He approached the man. He also saw it too. In front of them, there were words written in human blood on the wall. The blood was really fresh. Because it was wet and dripping from it.
“ Hey you guys come check this out “
The same police officers say to them. They already handcuff Jocelynn. She sighs. She raised her head to see what was going on ? And then she read it from the wall out loud so that everyone could hear it.
“ I know what you did last summer “
“ You can fool everyone! But you cannot fool me “
“ Karma is a b*tch. And it’s coming for you “
“ Get ready Jocelynn Johnson and Jeremy ‘ Jerome ‘ Carter “

The police officers were astounded. They finish reading what it says on the wall.
“ Is this some kind of joke ? “
Another police officer approaches their comrades.
“ Hey, should we worry ? “
Another police officer says as he approaches them. The other two stayed behind. They finally calm the audience. However; the people that witnessed it were still shaken in fear. The others from far away could also read the message on the wall in red human blood. Octavius shook his head. He secretly took the picture from far away. While, his two brothers try to distract their human friends. They heard their friends sigh. Whoever did this is making everyone involved. Whoever it was should know not to involve anyone.
The police officers had two names that were on the wall. They have no choice, but to send one to jail. And the other home. They dragged Jocelynn gently. She has no choice but to follow the police officers. She doesn’t want them to restrict her stay at jail. Even when she keeps repeating in saying ‘ I didn’t do this ‘ over and over. She was hoping someone would help her. News spread really quickly. The news has come to Jocelynn’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson was shocked. They know that their daughter wouldn’t hurt a fly.
She was gentle and caring. So, they would wonder why she was in jail. Her parents and siblings came to visit Jocelynn at the prison cell. Her siblings were shocked as well. They were concerned for her. First time for them to recognize Jocelynn was missing. Not after they treat Jocelynn as if she doesn’t exist. Constantly eye roll you know.
“ Wow, little sister would never hurt anyone “
Joceylnn’s sister, Jennifer, spoke to their mother. Their mother, Georgia, shakes her head. She’s afraid to say anything. Especially Griffin Johnson, her husband. She doesn’t want to jinx it. They wonder if this was foul play. Or it was really karma eaten up the Johnson’s Family a*s. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson look at each other. Jennifer noticed their parents were acting weird. She decides to confront them about what's going on.
“ What’s going on mother and father ? “
“ You seem like you’re hiding something from your children “
“ We have the right to know especially if this was the concern of Jocelynn, our sister“
Jennifer and Bernard spoke out in unison.
“ Did you know mother and father that everyone thinks that Jocelynn is a ‘ miracle ‘ baby ? “
They sigh as they look at each other once more. Then, they look at their son and daughter.
“ You are right about that my dear daughter, Jennifer “
They saw their son, Bernard not saying a word. He didn’t have to. His sister already asks everything that he needs to ask them.
“ We are afraid to say the truth to anyone “
“ Because we fear that if anyone know about it, they wouldn’t be able to live to tell the tale “
Their mother says in a whisper tone. She didn’t want others to know about it. She doesn’t want anyone else to die because of them. They have to be very careful of who to tell. Because, if anyone else knows about it; then everyone else will be cursed. They would get a death curse is what Georgia Johnson thought. And she knew it's because of her that this happened. She would blame herself for it. However; her husband; Griffin won’t allow his wife to take the fall. The only way to keep her and her family safe was to speak to them in filipino language. She thought no one would understand what she was saying. So, she took the risk as she sighs. Before she speaks to her children; she looks over her shoulder. Her husband saw her staring at him. Then, he stared at his two children to her side. He also sighs. Then he shrugged and nodded at her.
“ Okay sasabihin ko sa iyo ang aking mga mahal na anak. Ngunit, mangyaring panatilihin ito sa pagitan namin “ [Okay I will yell you my dear children. But, please keep this between us].
“ Ayokong maging malaking deal ito. Pagkatapos ay magpakita ako sa tv na isiniwalat ito “ [I don’t want this to turn into a big deal. Then have me appear on tv revealing it].
Georgia spoke to her children in Tagalog. Her husband stayed quiet as he listened as well. Their children look at him then to her. They both nodded.
“ Pangako ko sa nani at tata. Di ba tama kua ? “ [I promise mother and father. Isn’t that right elder brother?].
Jennifer nodded at what she heard from their mother. She turned her face towards Bernard. He didn’t say anything. He just nodded.
“ Hindi sapat iyon Kailangan ko kayong pareho na sabihin na hindi mo sasabihin sa kahit kanino kahit ang iyong mga kaibigan. Hindi namin nais na makisali sa iba pa sa bagay na ito. Georgina and her husband gave their children a strict and stern look. They both looked at each other. They sigh in defeat.
“ Ako, si Jennifer Johnson, anak na babae ng Georgia at Griffin Johnson na nangangako siyang hindi niya sasabihin sa isang kaluluwa ang sinuman. Kung ginawa ko noon, susunugin ako ng buhay ng aking katawan at hiwalayin ang aking laman. Hilahin ang aking mga mata at dila“ [I, Jennifer Johnson, daughter of Georgia and Griffin Johnson that she promise she will not tell a soul to anyone. Jennifer says her promise to her parents. The heavens heard her promise. She cannot break it. The promise was tied in a red knot. Which signifies the life of your soul and the promise you are holding on. No one could see it though. Others who would see it would be far from a distance. Her parents nodded at her. They looked at their son. They wait patiently. Bernard sighs over and over. He made the same promise like his sister, Jennifer did but differently.
“Ako, si Bernard Johnson, anak ni Georgia at Griffin Johnson na nangangako siyang hindi niya sasabihin ang isang kaluluwa kanino man. Kung ginawa ko noon, hayaan ang aking sarili na hiwa-hiwain. Paghiwalayin ang laman ko. Sunugin ang mga ito sa abo. Bernard spoke his promise to their parents as well. He sighs. Others who were watching from the sideline blinked their eyes. Others thought these people were weird. They pretend they didn’t hear anything. Their parents; on the other hand, they nodded at them. Since, they had confirmed it. Far from a distance where the Johnson’s family were standing; a mysterious group of people were watching them. They start to snicker softly. They shake their heads at what they saw before them.
No one could see these mysterious groups of people. It was as if they were invisible to the human eyes.
“ Are they stupid or what ? “
A male voice spoke out of the blue. He watches them. He wants to see if they will try to slip up. So that they could report everything to HER.
“ Maybe they are. Or maybe they aren’t “
Another voice spoke after him. The others didn’t say a word. They only just nodded.
“ Well I hope they know not to say anything “
“ Because, if they did; the death curse or whatever it’s called; will start to activate. And when it does; it will not stop until everyone who knows about it stop moving “
The man says who appears to be a leader to them. Others nodded at him.
“ But, they are speaking to their children in Tagalog. That’s not gonna make it go away. If she tells anyone no matter who; the death curse will activate either way. And their children will have it “
“ Since, we know that Mrs. Johnson and her ‘ miracle ‘ baby aren’t supposed to be here alive at all “
“ Nothing comes free. It will always come with a price no matter how big or small the desire or wish you want it to be “
A soothing yet angelic voice came unannounced. They nodded. But, one of them furrow his eyebrow. He doesn’t remember having a female in their team. The others didn’t scream. Four people are in the front keeping a lookout for any strange occurrence. The other four are keeping an eye on the Johnson Family. The other four keep tracking how many people are involved. And making sure the death curse doesn’t go overboard. Because, that would be a lot of dead bodies going to pile after pile. And it would be too much work for THEM. The one who judges the living and the death. They are known as ‘ death reapers ‘ .
“ Don’t worry boys. I’m only here to keep track of what the humans have promised “ says a soothing yet angelic voice as she looks at her mysterious book on her hand.
Her mysterious book only comes out when someone promises something or someone. Their names will be recorded on the book. And if someone tries to spill the bean or break it; the consequence will be massive. As well as the curse mark will appear on the person who has it. Her book starts to glow brightly.
“ Oh dear. It seems another stupid human breaking a promise already “
The angelic voice turned into a venom voice. As the book starts to glow, a powerful crystal ball that was embedded with a magical gem appeared before her. It shows her who was the unlucky human that broke a promise. The crystal ball has started to react. The images weren't blurry. It shows two humans. One man. And one woman.
“ Seriously them? Are you kidding me?! “ says the girl as she starts to hissed at what she saw.
“ Jocelynn Johnson and Jeremy Carter. What have you down now ? “ says the girl with venoms laced in her words.
Before she could react, four mysterious strangers wearing all black appeared before her. They have announced that something BIG is about to happen.
“ Death is coming “
“ And it will not stop until, the person who have done it realize their mistakes “
“ It has taken many innocent lives for just getting what SHE wanted “
“ Please you must find the one who have started all this “
“ The two people who was kept alive must end their live soon “
“ If not then, they will not only taken innocent live, but the family of whom they hold dear to “
