Chapter 29 - Meeting up with the others part I

The twin girls stand up gracefully. They did a courtesy for him. He could see that these girls are absolutely stunning. They had mesmerizing eye color. Like you could easily get lost in them. It was the color of the ocean blue. But, their hair color was passionate pink. He doesn’t know if that’s their natural hair color. Or the fact that they dyed their hair. He nodded at them.
“ Hey Marina, have you text her yet? She's suppose to hangout with us “
Marina sighs. Nova asked Marina. She sighs as well. Nora and Nova went back to their seats.
“ This girl right here is Olinda Harrison “
Marina introduces her. She nodded her head at Oliver. Then she did her own thing.
“ Hey Nora, Amelia and Davina says that she’s spending time with her cousin “
“ They say they are coming over at the mall. And that their cousin is with them “
Nora clapped her hands together. She was excited to see her childhood best friends.
“ This woman right there is Caroline Khan “
The girl pulls off her hoodie down. She turned around, since her name was being called. As he saw Oliver, she narrowed her eyes at him. She could tell his blood is refreshen. But, it wasn’t her taste. She nodded her head at him. And she walked towards the guy’s table. After the introduction, he tries to blend in with them. But, he was out of place. He didn’t know that his brother, Douglas, had so many beautiful and handsome friends. Douglas’ friends were very talkative. Except their last name sounds like they are related to someone.
After a moment, his phone starts to ring. Oliver picked it up. He looked over his watch. And it says it’s one o’clock in the afternoon. He sighs. That phone was indeed his friends. They came one hour before the meeting time.
“ Hey guys! It was really great to meet my brother’s friends “
Oliver says after he hangs up the phone. Douglas noticed that his friends were here. He nodded at him. And the others wave goodbye at him.
“ You sure have a cute brother “
The girl says. The guys scoff at those compliments.
“ Who were you referring to earlier when Marina introduced you guys to him ? “
Douglas asked his friends. The girls didn’t say anything. They are not sure if they are allowed to mention it to him. Marina looked at Octavious. His stare is so deadly yet frightening. Octavius was calming in nature.
“ Oh them, they are friends with Marina. Their names were Amelia and Davina “
“ Amelia and Davina is the cousin of Caroline Khan “
“ And they are also related to someone important to us “
The guys said after they explained it to Douglas. They didn’t explain anymore. He nodded his head.
“ We would like to introduce them to you when the time is right. Hopefully, no one dares to cause a scene “
Octavian spoke.
“ Yeah it won’t look good. This would be the first time, someone important to us are able to go out “
“ Yeah no sh*t. We had explain it to our uncles and aunts to allow her to hangout with us “
The girls giggled. They knew who they were referring to. Octavious smiled at the thought. He can’t wait to see her again. Hopefully, she’s back to normal.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the mall; near the food court area; his friends came right on time. They were sitting close to the fireplace which was at the center of the chairs. Oliver saw his male friends. But, they weren’t alone. He could see one. He came over.
“ Hey guys! You came early. I thought you want to meet up at 2:00pm “
Oliver says to his friend.
“ We could. But, we are already here. And we bump into a female friend of ours “
Owen spoke. He pointed at a female friend of theirs. He called out to her.
“ Hey Soraya, over here “
He saw Soraya gazing far from the distance of the window. She was waiting for her high school friend.
“ Soraya, I would like you to meet my homie. His name is Oliver Anderson “
The girl got up from her seat slowly. She walked towards Owen and the others. She follows her eyes to where Owen was pointing at. She saw a handsome man. But, she promised herself not to fall in love with guys. She stands next to Owen.
“ Oliver, this beautiful girl is Soraya Miller “
Owen spoke to him after the introduction. Oliver tilted his head. He saw Oscar sitting down. He could hear his own heartbeat. A man who he met earlier before this. He nodded at her. And then he walked fast towards Oscar.
“ Hey Oscar, my man. Do you have a brother ? “
Oliver asked out of nowhere. He turned his head towards him.
“ Yeah I do have one. Why did you ask man ? “
He says to Oliver. The others also heard it too. They came over.
“ Speaking of siblings, how’s your twin brother doing “
Orion asked Oscar. He faced towards him. He smiled at Orion.
“ He’s doing fine. He told me he’s hanging out with his friends “
“ Currently right now, they are in the cafe near target here at the mall “
Oliver’s eyes grew wide in shock.
“ Wait, Oscar, is your twin brother twin Oskar ? “
“ Yeah that’s his name. How did you know ? “
He breathed in and out. He was calming his heart down.
“ I was with them like one hour ago before Owen called me “
Orion was looking at him. It was as if he grew a second horn.
“ I also saw a couple of people who shares the same last name as all our male friends here “
“ Are you guys related to them somehow ? “
The others were talking among each other. Soraya heard an interesting conversation. She headed to where Orion was. Owen followed them.
“ What did I miss, guys? “
She spoke out. She was standing out too much. Other bystanders who saw her were whistling at her. She ignored them. Owen; on the other hand; he glared at all of them. His stare was telling them to back off. The whistle stopped.
“ So who are we waiting for ? “
Owen asked Soraya as he sat down next to her.
“ My high school friend. Her name is Arcadia Braxley “
“ She text me earlier that she’s coming here at the mall from the bus “
The others nodded. After another one hour has passed, the time is now 2:00pm in the afternoon. Soraya got out of her seat. She could tell she came. She walked towards another table. And she had a wide grin at her friend. Her friend came over to her with her other group of friends. Her friend had a lot of male friends. The men saw her beauty. But, she wasn’t interested in anyone. As her friend came over, she introduced all her friends to her. The girl saw Soraya.
“ Hey friend. I would like to introduce you to my friends. If that was okay ? “ said a young girl in her eighteen years of age as she took a deep breath.
The girl just nodded at her friend’s response. She didn’t say anything.
“ From left to right, this is Oliver Anderson, this is Oscar Beckett, this is Orion Blackwell, this is Owen Campbell, this is Orlando Cohen, Oswaldo Smith and Omar Harrison “ as the girl gestures at each one of her introductions when the girl nods at them all. She didn’t take any eyes off of them.
“ Guys this is my beautiful friend, Acadia Braxley “ as she gestures to her guy friend to see if any of these men are interested in her.
Acadia nodded as she extended her hand. None of the guys takes it. There was no one shaking her hand. Which was the first for her again.
“ Soraya Miller as usual, you’re so popular my friend “ as she envies her friend for having guys like them be friends with her.
Soraya rolled her eyes at her. She pulled the chair next to her. She sat down. She could tell her friend Acadia’s face. Soraya was hungry. She wanted to try something else to eat. So, she got up and her friends followed her. Acadia followed her too. When they reach a destination after so much walking, they have reached a pizza food place. As they entered it, Acadia was surprised to see the man she saw from the bus. The man was surprised to see a lot of customers these days. Especially the woman he saw on the bus.
He wants to forget what happened. He wants to focus on his girlfriend. Some of Soraya’s friends recognize the people working. Oliver and Owen walked up to him at the cashier. The others stayed with Soraya and her friends. The man tries to smile, since he’s at work.
… MEANWHILE …
In the distant cold where no humans are allowed to enter. It was being protected by a magical barrier. One that no humans cannot see. Nor feel. Nor able to enter. It was for the human’s own god. The ones that patrol around the secret boundary deep into the forest were well protected. Not only that, thick clouds hover around high above the forest. It was to confuse the humans if they did accidentally walk here. One of the warriors had power. A power that he could see up a protective array.
Within the deep forest, lies a magical lake. A lake that is the home of mermaids. The magical lake is connected to the four oceans. These four oceans could be found on human territory. But, it is hidden by an invisible force.
The Wales Family’s Household
“ Hey cousin, are you ready yet ? “
An enchanting young girl spoke.
“ Chill out. We still have time, Amelia “
Another girl spoke out. She came out covered in towels. Both girls came out having their hair wet. Amelia's hair was already completely dried off.
“ Well little sister, tell that to Nora Cohen. She’s been texting me lately “
Amelia called out to them. Her little sister sighs. She didn’t like people rushing them to get ready. Do you know how long it would take for girls like them to get ready? They want to dress to impress. That’s how these girls were taught by their mother. She glanced over to her little sister’s shoulder.
“ I’m sorry Amelia and Davina. You did so much for me already “
“ Please don’t stay on my account “
A beautiful girl spoke to them. Her voice was aching in sadness. She starts to look down. She starts to frown.
“ Hey don’t talk like that “
“ We are happy that you are here “
Davina came over to her. She gave her a comforting hug.
“ Yeah. I agree with Davina here “
“ It was awesome that aunty and uncle allow you to come here “
The girl was grateful for their kindness. The kindest that they showed to her. She smiled at them. However; the girls had a feeling why she came to the human world.
“ I get the feeling you want to see your human lover is that right ? “
Davina teased the girl. She didn’t say anything. She blushed. Her face showed off her shyness.
“ I do. But, my two uncles doesn’t want me to go to the surface to the human world “
“ They say that the humans are dangerous “
The girl’s smile was obviously known to them. But, she starts to gaze through the window. It shows them the wonders of the deep water.
