Chapter 52 - That dream again part II

A mysterious voice echoes into Julia’s ear.

“ Kill her! “

“ This is your chance girl. She’s vulnerable. She’s giving you a chance to do it “

A strange yet venom oozed out at the voice that Julia heard. It wasn’t from her though. 

“ Isn’t this what you wanted. You are pregnant “

“ If you kill your childhood best friend, Trina; you could still have him “

“ Come on do it!! “

Julia doesn’t know this voice. She screams at the top of her lungs. She held her head with her two hands. However; the mysterious men that’s on Trina's side knew the consequences of Julia’s baby. They knew the danger. She uses black magic to conjure a baby inside of her. To make it believable. She thinks the baby was his. But, it was not. She had created an evil being inside her womb. The man came to Trina's side. They speak native tongue to her.

“ What?! Is that true ? “

Trina spoke in a shocked voice. She gasps at this newfound information. She covers her mouth with her hands. Her eyes grew wide. She looked at them to make sure.

“ Are you sure about this ? “

The girl whispers into them. She tries to see if there are any lies within what they spoke of. But, there wasn’t any. She thinks of anything to save her.

“ How could I save her ? “

The girl thinks in his mind. But, a solution already came.

“ The only way to save her was to kill her. Or to put the darkness that she had within you. But you will also lose both yourself and the baby “

The man spoke in her mind. She sighs. She was in a daze. She didn’t know that Julia was moving fast so instantly. She blinks and she is almost at the helm next to her beloved. Her body moves. Rather having the poison knife to hit her heart; it only grazes on her shoulder instead.

“ Ahhhh “

The girl screams. She fell gently on the ground. Julia continues the assault. She starts to laugh.

“ Serve you right Trina. You don’t deserve the love of Rome“

“ He’s MINE! “

Julia’s voice shouted at her. Trina; on the other hand; she felt something oozing out of her. It doesn’t feel dark. Nor poison. She heard a gentle voice. A voice that is neither humans nor enemy.

“ The only way to save your friend is to give up something in return “

A gentle voice spoke.

“ What do you desire ? “

“ What is precious to you ? “

Trina coughs up blood. The blood in her system wasn’t red. It was black. That was the result of the poison residing in her. She glares at the people she considers an ally. She speaks in her mind, so that only those who could hear it knew it.

“ Do it now! Rip the baby from my womb “

The girl instructed the group of mysterious people. They heard it. They looked at her. They want to make sure. But, there was no hesitation. Her eyes were filled with determination. They started to say an ancient incantation. Only known to them. After a few while; it was activated into Trina. She screams at the top of her lungs. She has to do it. Julia’s eyes grew wide. She starts to blink. She could see blood pouring out of Trina’s body.

“ I want to save my childhood best friend, Julia. Is there a way ? “

She spoke to the mysterious gentle voice. 

“ There is. But an equal value of exchange must require “

“ What do you want to exchange ? What do you strongly desire ? “

The gentle voice spoke.

“ I gave up my humanity. I give up my body for yours “

Trina spoke to it. She didn’t hesitate.

“ Are you sure ? If you do this; you cannot be human anymore “

“ Would you value your life for someone else ? “

Trina closed her eyes. She remembers all the happy moments she had with her friends and families. A teardrop escaped her face. It continues to overflow her. She didn’t know that she is now vulnerable. Julia continues her attack again. She continues to stab her a lot of times. She continues to cough up blood.

“ A life for a life “

“ If it’s the only way to save my beloved from death then I’ll do it “

“ I will not leave my childhood best friend alone dying “

“ I will be with her so that she wouldn’t die alone “

Rome and his best friend yelled her name.

“ TRINA ! WATCH OUT! “

Rome’s POV

I was so stupid. Why did I not see the signs? I love my girlfriend Trina with all my heart. But, I hurt her countless times. And yet she forgives me. I slept with her childhood best friend Julia. It tore the soul and sanity that Trina had. I was shocked and happy to find out she was pregnant with my child. But, I cannot be with her; for death is coming for me. Because I take everything for granted. Her love. Her friendship. I took everything. I also lead Julia on. It is my fault that she is like this. And this is my punishment. My redemptions. 

Ooops forgot to introduce myself. Hi, my name is Rome. I don’t know my real parents. I don’t remember them. But, I know that I was adopted. I have a mother and father who I love. I also have three brothers and three sisters. My three sisters are married. My first brother has a girlfriend. And the second is married I believe so. And the third is the youngest child. And I have a woman I’m in love with. And that is Trina. I was all alone with her. It was the only way I could confess my undying love for her. But, also confess my sin to her. It was the only way to redeem myself.

I didn’t expect that Julia would cause this. She starts to go crazy. It went all fast. I knew I was laying on the floor. I had an open wound from a knife. But, I didn’t know that the knife was poisonous. I watched the interactions and conversation that Trina and Julia had. I don’t think Julia is pregnant. Because, even if I had s*x with her. I would always use condoms. Or I would tell her to use birth control pills. And here I am; I am dying. 

I cannot leave my beloved, Trina all alone. The only way to keep her not alone would put her in the hands of my brother. Well not really brother but someone who acts like one. His name was Andrew Anderson. The only man who is willing to be there for both of us. However; that wasn't the case. I could see how Andrew looked at Trina. There was yearning and love for her. I was naive to know about it. I was madly in love with Trina. But, I took advantage of her. And this was the result of the actions I made. I watched my beloved, Trina being stabbed multiple times by Julia. The woman whom I slept with countless times. But, I know that I didn’t make Julia pregnant. I’m always careful. 

I could see multiple men whom I don’t recognize. But, they recognize me as the lover of Trina. I could tell they despise me. I cannot force them to like me. I’m not like that. It breaks my heart to see her in pain. I was happy to find out she’s pregnant. And because of me; her and our baby will end. The only way to save Trini would give up my life for hers. I want her to live happy. It was because of me that Julia was like this. I will die together with Julia just to ease her suffering. I know that is bad. But, it must be done. I took a deep breath.

// END OF ROME’S POV //

Rome’s body felt like his body was on fire. It feels like someone was controlling him. He staggered to his feet. He ran up to Trina. He starts to shield her from the attack. The poison knife pierces through his heart. He coughed up a lot of blood. Trina screamed.

“ ROME!!! “

He stumbled backwards once more. He slumped off her body. He was bleeding heavily. Andrew grabbed her by the shoulder. He knew that his bestfriend Rome would not make it. He hasn’t told him the whole truth. The truth of who Andrew really was. But, he cannot risk having humans know who he was. He knew who Trina really was. That’s why he felt a deep connection to her. It was like an overprotective mode flipped the switch. He wanted to protect her. Be there for her. It was the only way to redeem what he has lost. He could feel the spark within her. It was a small tingly sensation.

He knew who Trina was. And how she affects him. But; she does not remember who she was. Currently right now; she thinks she has human parents. And that she was born as one. Whatever sleeps deep within Trina; still lies dormant into her.  He was the only one who could see the other side of her. A part that she couldn’t see. That’s why he understood that Trina could easily get pregnant. Because her body is human. And humans can only get pregnant by their own kind. As for his and his family, kind is a lot different. Andrew walked closer to Rome and Trina was. He was sad. It was the first emotion he ever felt for so long.

Rome calls out for Andrew. He rolled over. His back touching the floor. He extended his right hand. He tries to reach high trying to catch the stars. But, it was out of reach. His eyes start to blurry. Trina took his head. She placed it on her lap. She gazes over his body. He was really injured and battered. 

“Please my love, don’t go ”

“ I need you. Who’s going to comfort me and warm up my bed “

Teardrops fell from the sky. It starts to react to the emotions that Trina felt. Tears glossed over her eyes. Rome could hear soft sobs. Rome was breathing in and out. Julia was laughing hysterically. Her tears start to form from her eyes. Tears of the river rain down on her. She felt pain for the first time. Her heart starts to shatter. She was vulnerable. She fell down on the floor. Curled up like a ball. She continues to hear voices that weren't hers. It repeatedly tackled her mind mentally. She couldn’t tell who’s friends and who’s an enemy. The evil darkness sweeps out of her body. 

It starts to fight for control. And in the end darkness wins. The evil being sleeping deep within her pushed her innocent soul aside. The darkness leaks heavily on Juila’s body. Since, she was human. Julia’s body starts to glow into blackness. It was the start of her awakening. She’s indeed human. But; her body contains pure darkness. She unleashed a terrifying being. Even she doesn’t realize it. That was the consequence when she decided to use black magic. Julia screamed at the top of her lungs. She could feel the burning sensation. It starts to course through her veins and body.

Trina heard the scream. But, her eyes were solely focused on her beloved. Rome. With the last strength Rome had; he glanced at his friend, Andrew. He pushed him towards himself. Rome talks about how much he loves Trina. And that he will never forget her. How much love and trust that ooze out of her. He starts to call out for her. He couldn’t see anything. It starts to blur his line of vision. Trina slowly raises Rome’s head down on the ground.

“ I am here my love “

“ I’m not going anywhere “

Trina’s tears continue to flow like a streaming waterfall. She knew that her beloved; Rome will not be able to make it. 

“ Don’t be sad baby “

“ I want to see that last smile from you  “

“ Can you do that for me ? “

Rome starts to frown at her. He could tell he causes her pain. He slowly smiles. That crooked smile was to die for. It was his killer smile that made Trina love him even more. Trina nodded. 

“ Yes, anything for you babe “

Trina starts to slowly smile for him. A small smile lingers on her face. It was only for Rome to see. Rome smiled at her too. He couldn’t help but love her cuteness. He coughs up blood some more.

“ Andrew, my dear friend “

Rome called out for him. He slowly moved his head to the side. He looked at him.

“ Please take care of my beloved; Trina “

“ Shower her with love and affection “

“ The kind that I couldn’t give her in return “

Andrew only listens to him. He starts to breathe in and out. He could hear his own heartbeat. And he could feel Rome’s heartbeat. It was still there. Steady, but almost fading. Rome continues to call out for Andrew’s name. Andrew grasps his hand like a brotherly love. Andrew continues to frown. Trina was by Rome’s side. He gently grasped Trina’s hand onto Andrews on top.

“ Baby, Andrew will be there while I cannot “

“ He will love you more like I love you eternally “

“ Find happiness, baby “

Rome continues to talk. Not until, blood seeped out of his body. The blood surrounded his cold body. Blood starts to form into his mouth. The poison that was from the knife continues to spread.

“ My love, please don’t “

“ I can’t lose you “

“ Please stay. I need you “

Rome’s body crumbled into nothing. It was just an empty corpse laying on the floor. The last spark of life left his eye. Trina screamed out his name.

“ ROME , my love “

“ Wake up please “

Trina hovers around his body. She starts to place her hands on his cold body. She shakes her head. 

“ NOOOOOO!!!!! “

Trina could feel Rome’s life slipping away from an eternal darkness. She continues to cry and cry. And the rain continues to cry silently. Andrew starts to embrace her slowly. He starts to coo for her.

“ Shhhh Shhh “

“ It’s going to be okay Trina “

He wraps his arm around her neck. She starts to become weak. She crumbled into his arms. He rocked her back back and forth. He never leaves her side. Her back was closer to his chest. Trina continues to cry nonstop. Don’t know for how long. The other part of herself shines brightly next to her. She couldn’t see it. But, Andrew can see her. Trina’s soul starts to come out of her own body. Her eyes faltered. She fluttered her eyes once more. She could see her body is fading like a ghost. She turned to face Andrew. He could see Trina’s soul. It was shining more brightly than ever. A bright and big full moon appeared in the night sky.

The two souls intertwined with each other. They start to hold their hands together. The other one starts to cast an incantation spell. Trina follows her. She mimics everything this woman doesn't know. The lock deep within her starts to unlock. Her body glows even more. It was warm as an oven blazing over it. Her eyes slowly change into different colors. Andrew was shocked. It was like seeing a twin of Trina. But, that wasn’t possible. It was so quick that he doesn’t know what’s going on. It was moving really fast. Speeding up fast like a racing car.

A beautiful girl awakens. She starts to remember everything. She knew that her life was a complete lie. She looked over to Andrew. She gave him a loving look of adoration. She knew who Andrew really is. She starts to breathe in and out. She flutters her eyes. Her line of vision was very clear. She could see darkness looming over Julia’s body. There’s no ounce of white light in her. Julia’s soul saw a beautiful goddess. She couldn’t understand why. She kneels down before her. She shows her neck. It was a part of submission. The beautiful girl smiles gently at her.

She slowly raises her up. A crooked smile appeared at her face. She placed her left hand on top of Julia’s head. A continuous flash of images appeared on Julia’s mind. She was sobbing horribly. The beautiful girl spoke in Latin. She separated the darkness void that was pierce into Julia. As she does that; two humongous doors appear out of nowhere. She starts to raise her hands up at the woman in front of her. She starts to frown. She cleanses Julia’s body from any darkness. She didn’t hesitate. Julia’s body starts to crumble. It continues to burst into flames. Leaving nothing behind.

Two handsome men came out of the two mysterious doors. They bow down towards her. They knew what to do. They nodded at her. The innocent soul of Julia resides with the handsome men with winter and silver hair and white eyes. The naughty soul of Julia’s resides within another handsome man. He had gloomy pitch black hair and blue eyes. After that; everything was left unsaid. The scenery was left a mystery. It starts to turn black. Whoever was watching this was being pulled back out of the dream world.

… END OF DREAM-LIKE WORLD ….
